DLC18 discussion and predictions

Slightly hot take but a latin america or a general zookeepers pack would also include lots of animals that are already ingame.
At least a Latin America pack could have something more interesting like a mara, coati or rhea, or even a monkey (which I personally couldn't care less about since I never build for primates but y'know, people want it).
Meanwhile a mountain pack is VERY limited in terms of options.

It is limited. But it's also a region with very little rep in game, so there's certainly room for a few more:
2.5 for the Americas(Cougar, Dall Sheep and Wolverine)
1.5 for Europe(Ibex and Wolverine)
0 for Africa
3 for Asia(HBB, Takin and Snow Leopard)

I'm probably forgetting a couple animals, but there's plenty of fairly popular mountain animals still out there. I get not everyone likes em though.

The jelly thing as a new enrichment after years would be a little underwhelming i feel like. Like its probably a "reskin" of the melon or pumpkin feeder, where the animal just goes up to and eats. Which is nice to have but when i imagine Frontier coming back with new enrichment i would have expected something idk? unique? Like a lookout post for meerkats and other would have been cool, or an elevated sleeping branch for cats, primates red pandas and stuff to tie in with the leopard maybe?

Obviously the whole jelly thing is mostly grasping at straws and honestly i really doubt it actually means something. And when it comes to new enrichment items beggars cant be chosers i guess haha

This makes me wonder what animals wouldn't be boring options for you?

I'll say this again:
Stuff that WE DON'T ALREADY HAVE.
We already have a domestic cattle breed that lives in the mountains, which is why I would never want a yak.
We already have like 6 bears.
We already have Dall sheep, Ibex, Takin, and now we're getting Markhor, which is why I think something like a Barbary sheep would be boring.
We already have llama AND alpaca, which is why I'd hate to get a vicuna or guanaco.
Himalayan Monal is kind of a boring bird and I don't really see myself building whole habitats just for that, but oh well at least it's the only vaguely interesting animal that has been suggested here.
(Marmot is an animal I heavily dislike IRL plus it's just a beaver stripped down of its most interesting features, that is swimming and building dams.)

Guys we are getting a kangaroo in the mountain pack yay!!

What do you actually want? At this point we have almost every category of terrestrial animal
