The "Arid" pack was entirely African animals. There was no representation from deserts from any other continent (Outback, Gobi, Sonoran, Atacama, etc.).

This could be a "Highlands" pack and still just contain all Asian animals.

The Hamadryas baboon technically has a range in Saudi Arabia and Yemen but it's functionally regarded by almost everyone as an African species first and foremost.

Yep, and that's one of the things people really disliked about that pack...

Actually yeah, if we wanna get technical, then the South America pack is actually Central America because the RETF is mostly a Central American species and llamas are found worldwide

That’s a male markhor striking a pose, it’s just far enough away that you can’t see the spiral in its horns.

Would be weird if it was something else... especially since there appears to be another male Markhor further back...

I wouldn't have noticed that without you saying it but... I see it now. Hah. That said? I think that's just a poorly drawn/stylized hill.

Folks have said it's another male markhor which... I agree with. But if that doesn't convince you: Animal packs have historically included three species in the key art. One that is clearly highlighted and two that are sillhouetted.
