Just to be clear, I don't actually think it's a zookeeper pack and they'll be slowly but surely unveiling different biome animals or whatever over the course of the next week or two. I just got overexcited because it's a fun idea and it would be cool if that were the case. But there's like, a 0.25% chance that this is the case. Haha.

I'm like, 98% convinced we're looking at a straight-up Highlands pack. A Zookeeper Collection pack would likely have artwork that highlighted the keeper and "zoo" element in a pretty strong way, I think.

To me the only other flagship animal could be a rodent if it's a marmot or a chinchilla cause they are quite popular on social network. Other mountain animals are not so much appealing for most people.

Chinchilla would be perfect, honestly. Haha. I can visualize what that would look like quite clearly.

That said, I still think the Pallas's cat is the best choice for a pack like that!

Personally I would like a chameleon or mountain chicken! That one green mountain viper would be cool too!

The problem with the pallas cat as a flagship is that irl they have such a weird appearance that is difficult to reproduce in the game. Particularly for Frontier and the style they always chose for cats.
And then in our case we have a flagship that looks like the result of Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda and Jabba the hutt breeding.

If marmots, chinchilla (not an hyrax, which is unknow for normal people) or even a spectacled bear it would be a better flagship.

I honestly forgot the Chinchilla, like that and Andean Bear would be pretty good SA rep for this pack.

Phew! I've finally read through everything, you guys are really crazy here!

Pretty much everything has already been said, so I won't say much more about it.
The leopard is completely unnecessary. I'm just glad I don't have to pay for it. A 100x better choice would have been the ABB, which I don't necessarily want either, but which would at least catapult our American players over the moon, or the Rhea for SA, which is a no-brainer.

Am I the only one who can't quite place the pack?
At first I thought, "oh mountains?" immediately followed by "man, what an ugly cat". Then I thought that the Hamadryas baboon doesn't fit in at all and what are the festival pennants, lanterns and the beer tent in the background for?

I'm very happy with the Markhor and the Baboon, they've both been on my wish list since the beginning! The Manul is actually the only cat I can still live with (even though I think the one shown here is super ugly, it looks like a gray lump of fur)
I'm excited to see what the pack turns out to be.

What I'm most curious about is actually the beer tent in the background. It's just a silhouette, but somehow it looks like an aviary. Imagine if it was a WTE-style aviary and we got the golden eagle or the Andean condor, that would be so crazy

As much as I'm not huge on getting more cats, I like that the African leopard was partially chosen to help complete the Big 5 of Africa. That branding has a lot of modern conservation application, so it's nice seeing it fully transferred over to PZ.

My only issue with it is that it doesn't look that fluffy.

And I'm really happy for you, believe me. I'm just not a cat fan in general. Every cat is too much cat for me. But that doesn’t mean I can’t be happy for others!

Yeah, you definitely have a point here, but hey, I honestly didn’t think there was even a chance we’d get the Pallas's cat in the game anymore. So, I feel like I’m nitpicking at a high level if I complain about the fluffiness. I’m just really happy we’re getting them!

I will say, if after all this time Frontier is hiding some actual bird and aviary system right in front of our faces just to mess with us would be very funny. Honestly super fitting for them.

I will say the weird tent shape is odd, I have yet to see an actual good explanation for them. Unless someone can link me a picture of a Himalayan tent that has two peaks?

Is that Himalayan? I know that’s what the prevailing theory on what the current theme is. But yeah, that’s probably what it is. Likewise the flags on the top right of the image, and traditional Himalayan flags square shaped?

I agree it looks a little odd. The ears are too high and small, the head is too "flat" and the look on its face seems "forced-grumpy" but in a human way. But we have had this with other cats, too and maybe it's just the angle. I really don't complain. I'm happy we got it!
