Yeah, looking at this I'm going to say that I'm feeling the "mountain" vibes less and less tbh. Sure, Pallas Cat and Markhor are obvious mountain animals, Hamadryas to an extant too just not as "mountain = big hill with snow and rocks"; but this ain't a mountain. This is a forest with a small hill.

The flags and the lanterns, the tent in the background. At first it made me think Asian/Mountain, but the more I look at it the less it feels like it is that.

Hmm...the vegetation in the habitats of these three animals is not very dense, and there is not much rainfall. This picture is actually misleading. I realized this when I was looking for common points. Is there a word in English to describe a wild environment with less dense vegetation and less rainfall? (Excluding deserts)

Man talking about not seeing the forest through the trees, I didn’t even consider the fact it’s set in a forest glen 😂

Depends on the climate I guess. Scrubland, sparse, ...lightly forested?..., dry? Not sure what that environment is in terms of foliage

The prayer flags can both be rectangular and triangular, but I guess the rectangular ones are more popular.

Anyway: I doubt it is something tibetan or nepalese. To me it looks like a Circus tent, though I really don't know how that would be connected to the animal choices.

But we have the Indian flags, they are square, why didn't they use those? You can't see the pattern because it's a silhouette.
At the moment the things shown in the picture somehow give me an Octoberfest vibe and why the hell is there a zookeeper on it :ROFLMAO: This confuses me, help!

Guys, we already have a lot of flags in the game: triangular, squared, flexicolour, individual pieces to space the flags apart... We have some lanterns too. They are a bit different, but the new DLC image is a concept art, not a screenshot from the game, so the pieces don't need to be identical. Of course, the pack could bring some pieces, but I don't think we need more flags and lanterns precisely.

Octoberfest? Beer drink shop confirmed! 😂 I'm confused with all these possibilities, better not be more than a week we have to wait for the announcement.

So, looks like a Highland Pack for me, but we will see.
To the confirmed animals:
1. Pallas Cat: very cool animal, did Not thought, that it will come. 8/10 for me
2. Markhor: a Little but overrated for me, but I still like it. I always like the caprines and it brings nostalgia (Zoo Tycoon 2). 8/10
3. Baboon: Oh yeah, I hoped so long for it and it’s finally here. 10/10, clearly
My hope for the other 4 animals (if Highlands is the theme)
4. Spectacled bear, plsssssss.
5. monal, I mean, birds are always welcomed
6.Vicunja, more South America
7. Barbary sheep

Let’s see, what we are getting. I really hope the spectacled bear makes it way to the game with this pack.

I've seen quite a few people suggest the ABB, but it could amount to overkill. If we are getting a Spectacled Bear with this DLC, then adding in 2 very similar black bears, when we already have a lot of bears in game, would be heavily criticized.
Something like a Rhea, which you also mentioned, would be solid. But I think a spider monkey would be perfect. They added the brachiation to the base game, so they could modify the Gibbon rig and really make a splash.
