PZ is gonna get Nomadic government before CK3 doesMongolian dlc with yurts incoming! (I know they're not yurts but shut up)
Speaking of CK3, just got the new dlc along with some others last night. Going to play it while we wait for the dlc to finally releasePZ is gonna get Nomadic government before CK3 does
If theme really turns out to be not mountains they did pretty bad job at advertising, we shouldn't need to do this Sherlok Holmes inspecting of background elements to figure out, arguably easiest theme to make an art for.
However of it does turn out to be Anniversary theme or smth similar, I embrace it with open arms
I see blue keep being mentioned, I was joking lol. The color of the key art should have absolutely nothing to do with the theme or mood with the pack.
But even then, that doesn’t match the baboon at all. Which lives in a hot and sunny environment. Those colors are more associated with misty mountains, and maybe wintery landscapes. Not exactly average birthday party colors?
Yes this is why a Hamadryas Baboon works for this pack, while more associated with deserts the Hamadryas Baboon is also found in Highland AreasThey had the Sloth bear in the Eurasia pack and Black rhino in the arid pack.
The same can be said for Llama is SA pack, while it fit there it is more common in Highlands and grasslands yet it was on the tropical themed cover art.But even then, that doesn’t match the baboon at all. Which lives in a hot and sunny environment.
Okay but that has no influence on the key art whatsoever though. And to be fair the hamadryas baboon was one of the main animals that came up for a mountain pack last year.
Lol yes, and people who say they would expect the PZ green for a anniversary pack are forgetting that would clash with WetlandsI see blue keep being mentioned, I was joking lol. The color of the key art should have absolutely nothing to do with the theme or mood with the pack.

Already wasted entire yesterday on new DLC, it's peakSpeaking of CK3, just got the new dlc along with some others last night. Going to play it while we wait for the dlc to finally release
Counter argument: South America and barnyard were both green, although slightly different; in the same way, Grasslands and Oceania were both pink, with slight differencesLol yes, and people who say they would expect the PZ green for a anniversary pack are forgetting that would clash with Wetlands![]()
It clearly is. The silhouette of the male is very distinctive. What if ...it isn't the Hamdryas Baboon?
But when you look at the male silhouette you can see it looks just like a male Hamadryas Baboon. What if ...it isn't the Hamdryas Baboon?
That really is far-fetched!For me it would be yellow because that's a happy celebratory colour for me

All i wanted to say is that that baboon isnt really that out of place in a mountain pack, or the pack art imo as it was o heavily requested. Kinda the same as the porcupine which also wasnt the most natural fit for the theme but it was heavily requested and also made it onto the pack artOkay but that has no influence on the key art whatsoever though. The only real reason why we brought it up as a potential for a mountain pack was because we weren't getting it in the Arid pack, the obvious pack for it.
I still think that for a mountain pack, the key-art just doesn't scream mountain enough. Wetlands featured a wetland, Arid featured a desert, Grassland featured grasslands. You didn't have to look at the animals to guess what the theme was going to be. You could tell in an instant, even if you're not an animal nerd that knows all the animals. I can't say the same about this key art. It does not scream "mountain" instantly.

Well if you look you can see the hair tuffs, which looks not much like a GeladaTo me it looks like "some kind of monkey". I don't see clear evidence of the baboon. It's too blurry.
