Well, I think there's a chance that the "Barnyard format" become the standard for DLCs

Spec Bear in Mountains

Just four more habitat animal and they gave us as many south american animals in the last 2 years as in the first 2 years, both being an animal pack worth of them. We really should have never doubted them, they really are pushing that south america animal pack behind the scenes just like we allways dreamed of

I'm going to guess that one of the other species will be the spectacled bear. It's easy enough for them to make, and it would be Frontier's version of, "See? We are doing South America!"

Being reminded about South America again 🤬

Seriously though, part of me really hopes deep down we got one more coming. Just so Frontier can give us a South America/ Latin America pack.

Seriously, yes. If this next pack had been a Latin America pack, I could have said, okay, Frontier is done now, they covered the last region that a lot of people have been asking for a lot of things for. Of course, this pack could be a larger than normal pack and have some Latin American animals in it, and I'd say it's done. I just cannot believe that after two years of strongly asking for more Latin American animals, where we have only gotten a handful, that they would just leave it as is.

Assuming we get the spectacled bear in the next pack, what would you think of the south american roster if we get this pack:
  1. Greater rhea
  2. Patagonian mara
  3. Golden lion tamarin
  4. Black howler
  5. Tamandua
  6. South american coati
  7. Black agouti
  8. Argentinian Tegu (exhibit)
It also doesn't need new rigs except maybe the howler

Andean Bear
Domestic Yak
Rock Hyrax
Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo or Secretary Bird
(Exhibit Animal) Veiled Chameleon

In a perfect world I would replace the Chameleon with a Andean or California Condor but it's unlikely they would add that. I just hope for some new rocks

Beautiful. Personally i would replace the agouti for the Scarlet ibis but the rest is perfect.

I think that's a great pack. Though I have others I really do want to see, getting a Coati, Howler and the Spectacled Bear are the main 3 I want to get from South/Latin America. Honestly if those three were included in the upcoming pack, I'd be pretty satisfied with where South/Latin America stands, at least as far as mammals go.

A Mara, another Monkey and my own oddball fav Brazilian Porcupine would be absolutely outstanding and I would be beyond thrilled.

Replace the Greater Rhea with the Geoffroy's Spider Monkey and it would be perfect. And I know the odds of us getting two primates in one pack is fairly low, much less three, but hey, a guy can dream.

I think this pack will focus heavily on Asian Highlands. Frontier favours cute/photogenic animals, so taking this into consideration:

1. Markhor
2. Hamadryas Baboon
3. Pallas Cat
4. Golden Snub Nosed Monkey (Sifaka doesn't live in highlands, will probably feature in an upcoming rainforest animal pack, strong China sales)
5. Huon Tree Kangaroo (better fit for highlands than Goodfellow, plus a PZ song features the lyrics "Huon Montane")
6. Mountain Goat
7. Yak (easy clone, lots of color morphs, common in petting zoos, fits in well with the last pack/guests can pet them like the highland cow)
8. Chameleon (there are enough highland species for this very popular and iconic exhibit animal)

I think this will be a regular animal pack, no scenery pieces. It will release in mid October so as not to clash with PC2 and 2-3 weeks is enough for even hardened PZ players to get bored and maybe try the new game (especially in a pack without any pieces). The released screenshot also doesn't feature any unique new pieces from what I can see.
