DLC18 discussion and predictions

Ok, I dunno how this would work, but in my feed I've been getting videos of Cuba of different species playing together and how they have a bond. Now I know that the animal bonding system was added into the game, but imagine if it was expanded and we had interspecies bonds? Like, say, a grizzly cub builds up a bond with a leopard cub and they can be kept together without fighting (just thinking out loud, I'm sure there are better ways to implement that)

Thats too much creativity for Frontier to handle mate

My thoughts are that the end is nigh, but this isn't the last dlc. I wouldn't be shocked if the plan is to go all the way to dlc20.

Why?

1. The winter holiday season is the best time for sales and it seems weird that they'd miss that opportunity

2. Having a few extra dlcs gives a buffer for the company if PC2's intial sales aren't great.
And 20 is a nice, round number😂

One ungulate thats a criminally underrated pick imo are the chevrotains or mouse deers.
Muntjac, pudu and dik dik often come up regarding small ungulates, but these guys are properly tiny being about the size of a rabbit.
Whats also pretty cool is that these guys are semi aquatic and could bring another diving ungulate to the game.
They are also pretty unique taxonimically being in they own little group which is the most basal of the ruminants. Also they are just hecking adorable

So they do have alot of weird little perks that set them apart from everything else we have and i think they would be pretty cool to have honestly, making real funky little additions to tropical or even nocturnal houses

Could be the ungulate of a future PZ2 pack like "Nocturnal Animal Pack"

Very underrated! They are held at the Bronx zoo in the Jungle World, very cute animals.

Well that’s very wishful thinking, but yeah it would be nice if we got two more. So in terms of console bundles we would have:
  1. Barnyard x Whatever this next pack is
  2. Pack 19 x Pack 20
I’m not counting on anything until the next unlocked.

I think that what people are missing with this argument is that PC2 releases early November and if Planet Zoo is anything to go by they'll probably put out a DLC in December as well.

Frontier won't be missing out in terms of sales, they'll have the next Console bundle for Planet Zoo in November (most likely near the end of the month like this one has been), they will have people buying Planet Coaster 2 and they'll probably have a DLC for it as well, which will release on PC and Console, which would certainly compensate for the lack of a Planet Zoo DLC. Plenty of stuff.

I'm not saying that it's impossible for there to be more DLC after this one, but I don't think a PZ DLC for December this year is likely nor needed for Frontier in terms of sales.

Pure Celebration Pack Copium vs Pure Old World and New World Pack Copium

Who will win
I wish were are getting an Old World pack now, then a New World pack later, and finally a global final pack :)

Actually the deluxe version of Planet Coaster with the vintage rides is basically already a 15 € DLC. That's what scares me for PC2, that they start to release many DLCs very quickly just to earn quick money. With the negative reviews about the UI for PC2 popping everywhere, maybe sales for the new game aren't so high as Frontier would expect. Maybe having a small DLC for Planet Zoo ready for mid December wouldn't be a bad idea since they know we are a loyal fanbase.
