While Musk deer is definitely unique, I'd like something from warmer climates... To add more variety.
Plus we already have quite a few animals from South and southeast Asia, but not a single deer/antelope type animal... Imagine all the possible mixed exhibits if we got one

We already have a relatively clear 7 habitat animals we can gather from the dictionary:
  • Hamadryas Baboon
  • Markhor
  • Pallas's Cat (only animal not leaked)
  • Goodfellow's Tree-Kangaroo
  • Short-Beaked Echidna
  • Coquerel's Sifaka
  • Kirk's Dik-Dik
Rather than assuming Frontier would break convention of having more than 7 habitat animals in a single DLC pack, I think the spurred tortoise will be a walkthrough exhibit animal.
I'm also assuming that "secretary" is general enough to not hint at secretary birds being added despite their overwhelming popularity (even if I'd prefer seriemas for more South American representation).

Secretary is also in this list, same with African Spurred.


For me its a 12 animal pack, 2 slots avaliable with 1 exhibit. Probably going with Pacific Walrus and South Coatimundi as we need an Aquatic Animal and South Americna Animal.

The concept of the spurred tortoise in the walkthrough exhibit might be the most ridiculous idea this forum has ever cooked up

"spurred" was added in the same batch as "markhor", "sifaka", and "dik-dik". All 4 of these words (plus "Hamadryas" and "baboon") were removed from the dictionary on the 25th. The word "secretary" was added alongside the words "Hamadryas", "Goodfellow", "echidna", and "mamba". Only the foremost of that list was removed on the 25th.
But we can't forget the "secretary" isn't just an "animal word". Maybe its addition was a total coincidence.

Yea cause like, how would that even work?
The tortoises would be restricted to the sides of the exhibit, which would defy the point of a walkthrough exhibit entirely. At this point just let them be habitat animals

Okay I’m sorry my first post was a little mean. But with all due respect the spurred tortoise is the same size as the tortoises in the game. The giant tortoises in game should be larger than they are. Spurred tortoises would definitely be habitat animals and work just fine
