DLC 19 Speculation

I'd be happy to see Ethiopian Wolf as well. The whole community however would not. They say that they shouldn't be in game because they've never been in captivity. Yet, the Saiga (which is almost not represented in captivity) or the Pangolin are perfectly fine.
That's not true, the saiga got a lot of hate here on the forum exactly because of that reason. I'm not sure about the pangolin because it was basegame and I wasn't on here yet.

Personally I don't care about the argument tho, I do see it as a game & and animals that aren't in captivity could be very interesting if you don't build for realism.

I also don't care about the common in captivity argument either but my problem with the saiga is that it took the place of the blackbuck. Although i agree is more unique looking and thanks to it we got a tapir remaster so i guess it has it's upside.

If DLC 19 isn't either South America or a combined North and South America "Americas" pack, I'm going to rage delete Planet Zoo and all its DLC from my computer.
(Not really, but I'd be so frustrated I'd almost want to.)
I'm from North America (USA to be exact) so I really want more quintessential North American animals like coyotes which are in a ton of zoos here besides being part of my beloved canids group and also more South American animals because things like coati, spectacled bears, tiny South American monkeys like tamarins and marmosets, capybara (although they did make it into the game), maned wolf (also finally made it into the game much to my surprise and delight after giving up hope when they were not in either the South America pack nor the Tropics pack) are also really common in zoos here in the US. I've been to zoos here that have sections dedicate to South America as well as the whole North America/local/native wildlife sections. I need to be able to build a realistic South American and North American dedicated areas in my Planet Zoo zoos.

Well . . . uhh . . . I don't think DLC19 is happening guys. I think the Zookeepers Animal Pack is Planet Zoo's swan song.
Agree. Very highly doubt anything else is coming. But...just for talk's sake, let's make this next one the finale.

Planet Zoo World Tour pack - 6 species to bring the total animals to "over 200" at 201. Also included is an urban or city building set of 120-130 building pieces (less than a full scenery pack set but more than the 7 animal model set. )
Secretary Bird
Mandarin Duck
American Black Bear
South American or White Nosed Coatimundi
Black Howler Monkey
Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo

This gives us one new species for North America, Africa, Asia and Oceania, and two more species for South America, which also address the (IMO) two biggest missing spots int the South American roster (New World Monkey and the Coati). And what's more global than generic urban or cities?

Perfect way to finish the game.

I wouldn’t bet on it, but I guess we will hear about it in a week or two.
Maybe PC2 will underperform and Frontier makes the decision they need continued revenue stream from PZ DLCs. After all DLCs are ported to console, a new DLC will be able to be released simultaneously for both PC and console in Summer 2025. Frontier might find such a pack profitable enough to continue support.

It’s possible PC2 might underperform. But I wouldn’t bet on their newest game to not do well just as an excuse for PZ to be continued.

At some point PZ will end, maybe it’s this dlc or maybe not. Either way PC2 is coming, staff were moved around and some were even fired. I would imagine if PC2 does poorly that’s not a good sign for PZ or Frontier. I can imagine no dev after finishing work on PZ wants to come back to it after PC2 doesn’t do well.

While I don't think this game is getting a 19th dlc but I will still give two ideas so we can get to 200

Biodiversity Pack (aka a clone pack)
Squirrel Monkey (would give us a new world monkey but won't be overly difficult)
American Flamingo (a gorgeous New World bird)
Astatic Lion (gives us a new and better lion)
Nile Crocodile (gives us a new and better croc)
(Exhibit Animal) Indian Bullfrog (me like yellow frog 🐸)

I would say it has about a 15% chance
My other concept, which is unlikely, is a

San Diego Zoo Pack (why not team up with a popular zoo for the last pack)
Matchie’s Tree Kangaroo
Rock Hyrax
White-Nosed Coati
African Crowned Crane
(Exhibit Animal) Tuatara

I would say about 3% chance I think it's extremely unlikely but we will see
