looks a lot better in this screenshot
Oh my goodness! He or she is beautiful! I already saw the screenshot on Instagram but the full screenshot here makes me even more ecstatic to see the species! Although I was already very happy for Britches!
Depending how the dik dik turns out...
...I think I might be looking at my favorite animal from this pack!

I'm 100% certain it will be useful for the sequel. Your work is appreciated by me, and many others I am sure!
As I said before, very on brand for Frontier. But don’t feel like you lef us down! You were a feathery beacon of light in a sea of hooves!

As someone who started the Waterfowl Winners Club I can admit I do feel the pain, though obviously you have spent so much more time and effort then I have!
Thanks kings, truly appreciate your kind words! ☺️🫡🫡

I thought I was going to hate the spectacled bear, but as it turns out it's becoming one of my favourite animals in the pack.
Today I was in class, I was bored, and so I decided to draw this goober

If you are that desperate for South American animals, I would encourage mod use. Whilst we all want a diverse game, with lots of animals from South America, it was always going to be impossible to produce that.
Not really. Coati, mara/rhea and another NWM would've been enough to cover all the stuff most requested for SA. They went only with the bear and instead they picked two animals that while popular were nowhere close to being "highly requested" like they claim, specially when compared to coati, NWM and birds. I don't agree that pudu would be better than dik dik but mara would, and a NWM would be better than the Sifaka.

I have come across mods for pretty much all those animals.

Additionally, even if you’d personally prefer other animals, they have all definitely been requested…

Yes there are mods. The coati mod is fine, the other two just aren't good enough for me unfortunally. The monkeys some are good as well, but depends which one.

And yes like i said they were requested but not to the level than birds, coati and NWM were and deffinetly not what most people were expecting/wanted for Final pack.

What exactly was stopping them from picking a tamarin over a sifaka or a mara over a dik-dik?
Well dik-diks are extremely common British zoo animals and are adorable. Frontier are based in the UK so easy connection. Plus they fulfil a niche and group of ungulates that is unfilled by any other animal in the game. So there is an actual case to include them over other animals. Also, muntjac are an invasive species in the UK; so probably less likely to make it in for that reason.

Sifakas are also a great choice, although admittedly wouldn’t have been mine. Someone else can justify that one. However, many zoos have at least 3 or 4 lemur species so it’s nice to truly have that diversity. Whilst I would like more South American animals, not all of them would have been fixed by 1 pack alone.

Finally, whilst we are speculating this is the
Last pack, it’s still speculation - even if it does seem likely to be the last pack. There could still be an Americas pack in the next year!

Mara are more common in British zoos and worldwide and were much higher on the wishlist. The muntjac being an invasive species means absolutely nothing. Should we have not gotten the dromedary camel for being invasive to Australia?

They also tend to have more than one New World monkey! Also, there's not going to be a new pack.

I don’t know, I’m pretty sure this is it.

The only thing I can think is we normally get 4 packs a year, this year we only got two. Maybe, just maybe, we could have more coming our way. Perhaps porting over the console packs really slowed things down.

I guess we will see by the next unlocked.

Dik-diks are much more common at major zoos though. I’m also just saying, that in the developers eyes, if they are alert to conservation issues in the UK, muntjac are suddenly not a particularly desirable animal.

Correct about the monkeys.

It may or may not be. We have no conclusive evidence.

But they are not really good, especially unfortunately the coati.
So it is okay, to be disappointed, that one of the most wanted animals from the most underrepresentated continent didn't make it in this so-called "Zookeepers Animal Pack", although Frontier pretends that e.g. the African Spurred Tortoise or the Sifaka are fan favorite.
