In other news, today, October 10th, 3310, around 4 AM, a historic event took place.
I got ganked. A human CMDR killed me.
This is what my copilot had to say about it:

I wanted to congratulate them, but at the time I resurfaced out of the rebuy screen, they were already gone.

Hadn't even noticed there was a hollow rectangle while I was trying to get to one of the stations to deliver some data and end the session. Thus wondered why the interdiction went so horribly wrong - NPCs are unable to interdict me. When I heard the ship type and the bounty, I knew I was in trouls. I was in the same ship, but being tired from approximately 3 hours of deliveries during a sleepless night and caught completely off guard, I was dead before my copilot was able to tell me that my hull integrity was down to about 58%...


It happened again... I was unable to finish this post before nodding off. Though this time, I found my way to bed...

I had a similar experience last night building / engineering a fighting viper. I had the frag cannons installed but not the power plant to deploy them. Luckily the shields held up more than well and I managed to high wake and leave that p2 ganka sucking on my engine exhaust. I was somewhat surprised that the viper managed to get away so easily, maybe it wasn't really a murder boat just an opportunistic PP enemy with average skills.

I am not worried about doing this as I mostly read/post to the forums using a tablet while already in bed.
Cheating I suppose.

I did once nod off at the keyboard while docking at a Coriolis, one moment I was lining up at a distance having just got docking permission, next I was bumping around in the trench that surrounds the bit of the station face with the slot in. It took a while to work out where I was.
