The game after the release of patch 1.18 does not run on STEAM, the developers are not able to test the new content to see if it will work on all possible platforms. As long as they get paid 10 euros for new content that does not work shame on you. If I had done such a job at work I am without rewards.

HUH??!! What kind of "fact" is this? Both the sun bear and the sloth bear are significantly smaller, not to mention the panda bear. The sun bear and the panda bear are even in the game...
The game update may have had some corrupted files which did happen to me but validating the game files from the steam library fixes it.Developers !!!!!!!

I chose this option, no corrupted files. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it with no result. Do you have any other smart advice in there?
Happy release day everyone and Happy 5th Anniversary Planet Zoo ! I still think what I said a week ago, which is I would have prefered other animal choices for this pack. But this being said, all the animals look great and the scenery pieces are awesome ! I would just like to ask you, Frontier, to really consider upsizing the aldabra and galapagos giant tortoises. They are really too small. Please

Also, the last chords of the trailer song this time sound different, like it's really coming to and end. Definitely a different mood in it than in the other trailer songs.

It was a great journey in the last years and I'll definitely miss the excitement when a new dlc is on the way and the announcement trailer drops.
I already said this but thank you very much Frontier for this great game!
Also, the new scenario map looks really cool. I've never really been interested in the scenarios but maybe I'll give it a try this time and eventually extend it to a bigger zoo.

. This will surely be my favourite pack. Finally my.beloved Dikdik made it into the Game 
Might be an issue on your end. Uninstall, then dig through your documents and delete every single file you don't need concerning PlanZo (the uninstall doesn't delete everything)
Then try a disk cleanup and trash all old, corrupt, and outdated files.
Restart the PC, then reinstall PlanZo.
Sometimes it works. I can guarantee it with Kenshi, because it was lagging like crazy, even in vanilla. Once I did that process it went smooth again
I mean, if we go by bears other than the clearly huge brown and polar bears, well:
Both black bears are clearly larger, spectacled and panda bears are of comparable size, sloth may be slighty smaller, and sun is clearly the smallest.
(For the record, the brown and white bears at the bottom are color morphs of the American black bear, aka the one beautiful boy we won't see until next game)
I don't think that's accurate though. Aren't polar bears the larger land predators of like all predators?

I think Frontier needs at least one animal nerd on their team who could control check the zoopedia facts.
I mean Sun Bears are known to be the smallest bear species. Any zoo that keeps them will highlight this fact. Spectacled Bears are known for example for being the most arboreal, they could write this fact instead.

It's been 5 amazing years.
And while I don't want to be too negative, I have to acknowledge that this may be my last time experiencing a fresh new DLC for this game... I can't wait to experience the First 2 Hours With a New Pack™ again:
1. Too much stuff to check out
2. Load into the newest career map to just look around
3. Get carried away looking at the new animals
4. "Ok time to build for real now"
5. Open the new scenery
6. Start building the ugliest and most useless structure ever conceived
7. Get invested into whatever that abomination is and spend an hour building in the vague attempt to make it look passable
8. Gaze at the newly created abomination. "Wow". Blueprint it. Never use it ever again.
