It could really mean everything, I think we have to wait and this all here should be a lesson for us: We can never say, that this is the last pack, just because of the content in it.

Well that was a big surprise not going to lie!
If past years are anything to go by we might be waiting for a while though, they usually release their DLC in the week of Easter which will fall on the 20th of April, so the 15th is a likely candidate if they want to go with that. Unless PC2 takes that spot obviously.

They specifically said "next year"... And December of next year seems a bit far

Literaly 0 of the Spring packs have ever had anything to do with Easter. It's just that the Spring DLCs for any Planet game (Coaster and Zoo) have been released in the week of Easter.
So wouldn't count on any direct connection there.

I could be something as simple as them not knowing a solid date or whether it will be an animal or scenery the hesitation is there which makes me think this is the earlist we have heard of a pack
