I would like to have both. If a blueprint I make can be uploaded to the Frontier Workshop for console players, then I will include it. But like with many aspects of PC2, I want to play it on PC, I don't want the console experience. If I did, I would have bought it for my PS5.
Yes they now have to keep the frontier workshop obviously, but this has been a wrong design choice from the start and everyone told them already but no they are stubborn and now we are all left with a broken mess.
They need to implement Steam workshop, and then they need to find a way so people can transfer them in between.
But I doubt it honestly, seeing the lack of communication with the community, seeing how they release a game with broken path system where guests constantly get stuck, seeing they leave basic features out from the first game like the option to remove path kerbs or add glass pieces, they will probably not even think about actually making this game a pleasant PC experience.
It is the Cities Skylines 2 disaster all over again. And the worst thing is, I loved Cities Skylines 1. But when Cities Skylines 2 came out as a broken and buggy mess I immidiately started hating Cities Skylines 1 too because all the good memories are now ruined for me.
And the exact same thing is happening now. I loved Planet Coaster 1, but since Planet Coaster 2 is so lacking and buggy in many features, I now dislike both games and am left with nothing.
