Elite Dangerous | Cobra MK V Update - 12 December 2024

Yes, the Courier is one of the two fastest ships in the game. But the Cobra V also reaches SCO speeds of 7000c
I checked speed for iCourier = 800.
Flying in SCO is a feature of all new ships and it's not a fact that needs to be taken into account. I want to know the parameter like the previous 3 ships.

I don't know what you did. But, you don't fix the Carrier-Bar-Bug.

Odyssey came out ages ago...
Is this a "paid DLC is not OK" thing?
I refer you to my previous answer.

I agree. Especially in the game these ships have maneuverability at some points and it is the same. So we can not compare them on this parameter.
The question remains the same, what makes the Cobra5 stand out from other ships?
I understand that for some it is the appearance, etc. but I would like something specific that is in the 3 previous ships.

speed, cargo capacity, internals, crew of 3 - which is unheard of for small ships

Speed. Nearly any build easily boosts over 600 m/s, and the cap is around 692 m/s.

My rather heavy build (fully armed, size 4 prismatics, size 4 srv hangar, 3B operations MLC, A-rated except for sensors and life support) does 635m/s and jumps 48 Ly (with the help of size 5 FSD booster)

Hi Paul. Not sure why you picked that particular comment at random, given how much insightful troubleshooting there has been generally, but there are 36 pages of comments on that bug already and a dozen comments on this forum post yesterday's update with cases that have not been fixed.

It might be better for Frontier to say which cases you believe HAVE been fixed and ask people to retest that specifically.

Hey there. We mentioned that transaction errors could still occur in some cases. Can you contribute towards the issue here to help our devs investigate.
I don't think people adding to the issue "I have the same problem" helps the devs much - only show the scale of the problem which we can already establish is pretty much wide.
There seems we have an issue that might require a bit more of communication between the devs and players: would sending netlogs and/or journals help?

Should already have been the case but evidentially I have upset the cosmic horror that powers the forums...again. Fixed now.
Any idea when the Midnight Black paintjob for the Mandalay will actually be available, it’s listed online now but still not available. I’d assumed the server downtime this morning was to fix this

Sadly due to how the issue tracker works you have to fill the issue with CMDRs going "I have the same problem" otherwise it expires, gets closed and never gets looked at.

Yeah, sorry. My reply was delayed due to network issues, but I saw it after I posted.
If you haven’t bought Odyssey, you have to pay to get the new ships. If you have bought Odyssey, and are prepared to sit out whatever time frame Frontier choose to put on the early access, you get access to the new ships at no additional cost.
This is written in a way that would make me assume you have no problem with their approach. From your other post, I had thought the opposite. Maybe I misunderstood.

For me, it's simple. I'm not sure I want to buy the new ships for IRL cash, but I have no problem with FD making some money off them for a few months via keen early adopters. I also don't feel I've already paid in advance for new features that get added years after I paid for EDO. They get little enough money from me and many other long-term players to fund their upkeep.

(NB: I'm no apologist for them. The lack of bug fixing remains a constant frustration and it's one of the reasons for my recent long break.)

Hi Paul,

Sorry, but I do. Yesterday and today. Always with discribe the problem, the steps and with a screenshot.

Go to the carrier-bar. Want to buy material or goods or data. It's always the same. The same problem like yesterday. You find a lot of issues from today and yesterday. I think is not a problem in some cases. It's a problem from many users but not all go to the issue-ticker.
