COMPLETED CG Battle for Sol: Destroy Titan Cocijo (AX Combat)

I wonder how the tiers are set anyway, still tier 1 of 8 at 22% seems a little odd.

But in the end, I think it's binary in fact, either the thing is dead or not on Thargsday, so one tier would have sufficed (certainty here it will be dead much earlier). I think the motivation behind this is to dish out increasing levels of credit rewards the closer the CG comes to completion, to spur motivation towards the end phase.

O7,
🙃

I hope people realize that no CG rewards unless the Titan goes boom by next week. The dcoh % damage per hour has dropped very low compared to yesterday. Hopefully over the weekend alot more people start attacking the Titan.

I also think people should stop saying "it's easy! Take one poke at Cocijo then sit back and wait for your rewards!". That line will send many commanders in completely unprepared then completely turned off by Titan/AX combat for a long time to come.

If you've got beginners, send them here:

So far so good.

The damage/credit values being different is confusing a lot of people at first glance.

One of the main confusions I've seen is "Do i need 2m CG contribution to get the shipkit/decal" which isn't true and isn't mentioned anywhere else, with the forum post making no mention of the 2m requirement at all.

I think it's fairly safe to assume that the requirements are fairly lax here and everyone who did damage to the core will get some reward, but clearing up some of the worries could set a lot of worried people who are really paranoid about missing out on the many excellent rewards this event has.
It would have been better if the CG renamed the "credits" unit as "damage inflicted."

It's been over 12 hours since I made my first guaranteed contribution to the CG.
The game still says that this contribution is zero.
Am I correct in understanding that this is how community goals are supposed to work?
Am I correct that I'm the only person in the world who has encountered such a problem?
No reason to worry?

That kind of note?

That one, yes. Also, i think you also need to cash out those combat bonds.

No, I don't think you have to cash them in, as I didn't and my contribution still did register. But it's odd anyway. What's the truth here, 2556 or 3418? I had cashed in all bonds before going out, so this is exactly what I got from the Pineapple:

Still my single sortie from yesterday evening, nothing changed. I think it's the ingame numbers, but then, I'm confident INARA just displays what the API delivers 🤔

EDIT: Out of curiosity, I cashed in the bonds now, at Hutner to make sure, and my contribution didn't change. So I guess cashing them in is optional indeed.

Of those, 3418. A relog with EDMC (or whatever) still running should update Inara.

Indeed, that worked. You can also use Inara's 'Import Game Data' button. It was set on Auto Update for me, but anyway.

As for the reward tier, indeed! I only had Inara Access when musing about the tier structure, and hadn't seen the ingame CG tier structure before, of course clearly resembling the hearts taken out (because it was real late yesterday, and I had just come back from my teams' Xmas party, and could only briefly fire up the game to buy the Cobra, and then make one tiny sortie anyway), but if it's true with the doubling, keep it going! Even a minimum contributor would get 10 - 20 - 40- 80 - 160 - 320 - 640 - 1280 millions that way, not to speak of any contribution above that level. Finally, that Morai CG of old would be forgiven (the one where they set decimal point wrong, top 10% yielded 320m and bought me my first Conda)! 🚀

NB. We'll see with the next heart gone, but I rather think they'll just multiply each tier reached with the initial credit value. Would still be lucrative.

Short info regarding the CG:
1) apparently you need to actively sign up, at least a friend had to as when I took him there (see below) it did not make him participate
2) multi crew grants bonds but it does NOT count for the CG for that crew member, neither as telepresence nor if you board someone else's ship physically. I tried both and my friend still got 0 credits participation despite having received combat bond messages of damaging the core.
3) the CG contribution amount for yourself only seems to update when you go to a starport and check the CG progress, it never updated for me in the transactions tab (perhaps on relog, that is the only thing I did not check).
4) the Titan can bug out sometimes, just like his previous brothers. That is, the yellow vents might not open up at all or if you shoot nanite torpedoes at them they remain active. Go to another instance then or relog (you will have fly there again through the caustic cloud).

I keep seeing this everywhere and it's starting to worry me.

The CG showed up in my nav panel as soon as I did my first bombing. Every time I've docked at the Hutner the CG board says "Signed up" and it shows my contribution, and there's no option to manually sign up.
