Technically it’s supposed to be better for drives less than size 5. Realistically I find the extra fuel usage not worth it so I always get mass manager.

Being in a trip to Beagle Point I wasn't able to participate in this CG, but I read that the new Pre-Engineered SCO drives are available at Tech Brokers.

Does that mean that I could buy the new SCO drives (at the material cost that FD decide) even if I didn't participate in the destruction of Cocijo?

Yes, it looks like everyone now has access. Though you’ll need some Titan Thargoid Drives….so you’ll need to drop by the Bubble again if you don’t have any yet.

It depends on the weight of the ship, but even on the rare occasions when deep charge has the advantage, it is often just a fraction of a light year and, to the extent I've looked, never worth the extra fuel.

The only downside of the new FSD is the Mandalay can overheat while fuel scooping.

I’m assuming from Piers’ repeated mentions of ‘scars on the Galaxy’ that the Titan debris will remain for quite some time. No guarantee of course and no set time, but possibly a decent indicator we’ve got plenty of time to go and get some.

Needed one for an extra size 5 yesterday and went to the nearest ruin. It took a long time but I did find one. The ruin was Hadad so its been dead for a while now.
