Elite Dangerous | Thargoid War Epilogue

so that's a one sided scripted outcome
there was never any condition were the thargoids won the event or war (no suns involved)
which kinda does not make it a war but a fictional war story with predetermined ending.
thats what i am talking about..........................
Like any computer game and story and plot.
Session games, Arenas (Tanks, CS-GO and the like) are not computer games as they are essentially just an interface for 2 player interaction.

anyhoo the opening op statement that the war is over is basically wrong
Armistices, surrenders, and ceasefires have interrupted combat in varying ways. They silence weapons but also maintain the state of war, which ends only with
some kind of mutually agreed peace treaty or the opposing side no longer exists to conduct aggressive actions
i dont think mosquitos care or even know that we are basically in a state of war with them we are quite simply just breakfast or dinner mostly as they tend to skip lunch🤷‍♂️
for all we know the titans may have just been having there version of a thargoid dinner party

Yep, the invasion is over simply because of the extermination of all the invaders. No idea if the war is over, depends what the image of a triangle of humans on top of a circle of Thargoids means (personally I'm hoping it indicates that all they wanted from humanity was to was to teach them how to form motorcycle display teams).

so the invasion is over but ya still wanna kill thargoids or test those new weapons but did not get the chance
head to titan oya (its nearest to sol as its cloud has not yet dissipated)
plenty of glaves and medusas to keep you busy just collect the mats that spawn around the titan wreckage and they will soon show up😁
though if taking on medusas you might wanna bring some m8ts to the party.................

what why have my posts with pics been deleted they were on topic & non offensive?
yep hunter class at oya reconfimed
You posted pictures in the Thargoid invasion targets thread, I haven't seen any anywhere else.

And the Glaives barely spawn at Titan wrecks if at all. Scythes are also "Hunters" and the only thing I have seen at the remains, while my knowledge of Glaives is limited to other players' reports. (And it seems to be rare to the point of just not being worth waiting for unless you enjoy slaughtering Scythes repeateldy.)

oh irhought hunters were glaives my bad and i thought it was the same thread silly me
i was just trying to basically convey that the thargoids are still around to shoot at despite the lack of ax combat zones etc
as one cmdr just got his first ax build as cocojo went belly up great timming on his part:ROFLMAO:

California Sector is still a hotbed of AX Combat zones, but I think they were pre-war. Still, they all act the same. Some are bugged because they're too low into the upper atmosphere. Some of you will fight in the upper atmosphere. You can watch the bug giblets and ship wreckage rain down on the planet. Getting pre-paid before you kill the hydra(s).

There's a high and you'll get a wing of Glaives occasionally.

So there are still Scythes about. Which leads to the question of where are they taking pods now there aren't any titans?
Just another loose thread to add to the collection I suppose...

Titans that we know of. And maybe the Titans are just a mobile version of some other gigantic human assimilator.

Allow me to extend that question... how many pods did they move off the Titans to where humans cannot feasibly reach/rescue them before we even had a clue about the abductions, and a way to get them out?

I doubt we will be seeing "zombies" but I wouldn't believe the Thargoids took captives out of the goodness of their hearts to preserve the species if an ill fate were to befall us. Whether that is due to our own stupidity and infighting, their own doing, or something something about Guardians, Nemesis and their bots (AI/Constructs).

GLAIVES you say?!?!!? --> https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/thargoid-invasion-next-target-systems.612125/post-10514680 ... phew i must go find. 🙏

You can start in California Sector HR-W d1-28. There's one High and two Mediums. The HAXCZ is just out of reach of the planet's gravity but the other two are not so lucky. One will not spawn anything due to how low it is. The other will be in the upper atmosphere and gravity will mix things up. Watching ship wreckage and Thargoid giblets fall to the planet is fun.

Inara should have the conflict sites listed. Every day there is Finance Fridays.

personally i am always offending the critters somewhere i am on a personal vendetta to deflower & debug this game ;)

Can’t go wrong, I’m sure.

But even if it does follow in the footsteps of the Proteus Wave as a catastrophic failure (and I don’t expect it to be too successful), I’m sure it’ll be fun for the participants.

Now watch Frontier use this as part of their next Thargoid return arc.
I'm not quite sure what that is? Wave of Proteus was a planned game line from the game developers. What's this going to be?

Every time we hit the HIP 22460 button, 8 Stargoids appear. 😄
