IIRC Elite: Dangerous does not have an offline mode. It does have a Solo mode but that still requires you to be connected to the servers.

There is the separate-servers Legacy version but I'm not in that.

Yes they really should sort that out, so many different colours make it look a mess, it would be much better with all the cables the same colour.

The machine looks like it has banks of Bombe decryption mechanisms in it which would tie it in with Colossus at Bletchley Park but the uniform looks American so probably post WW2 copy of Colossus somewhere in the USA.
