Must have been one hell of a cat. Or did it accidentally hit the "Disable fusion reactor containment" button that was suspiciously unsecured and non-cat-proof? (If there is such a thing as cat proof, and I know what actually happened in Alien)

I will fund the replacement of the chairs for all your ships and personally arrive to repair them should they break under so much... presence.
Amusing, but I also have no way of further replying to this that would not be awkward. And I'm sure quite a few people might find my tastes to be questionable.

But, on a more serious note, the only thing I could see opposing the addition of certain character editor features (not that it'd be a very good one) is needing to either keep them within the bounds of the existing pilot/ship chairs/seats, or adjusting them depending on a player's choice within said editor. And I guess the suit textures, but that might be less... mh... problematic.
 
Maybe I should have shown the relocation spot a bit higher and out of the way. When I first started playing that notice blended in with the top of the radar holo and I wouldn't notice it, occassionally and I'd overshoot. Now, I don't even notice it other than it adds clutter. have a nice day Commanders

  • (Lucrative) Missions requiring flying inside an installation, fed capital ship, or other confined space, in a small ship
  • Rapid stealth planetary courier missions. Max altitude limit, aggressive time bonus scaling with time. Hooning for pay, where you deliver from one settlement to another. (Again, speedy, small ships).
  • Bonuses for “discretion” in assassination missions; bonus scales with how small / light the ship was. Maybe tonnage, maybe hull hp + shield hp.
  • On foot Thargoid zombie combat.
  • Make Missiles Great Again (ammo)
  • Make Torpedoes Great Again (damage, ammo)
  • Make Cannon Great Again (ammo)
  • A shield-piercing skill shot weapon to resettle the shield meta. Maybe just buff phasing to 20%?
 
Things I 'd really like to see and believe are realistically possible (still, probably a long-shot):
  • Network stability improvements.
  • Shadow flickering bug fix.
  • Megaship hulk on-foot salvage.
  • Hover-"bike" biological scanning focused SRV.
  • New on-foot equipment; weapons & maybe suits.
  • Change of suit mechanics to allow any tool to be assigned to tool or weapon slots; different suits have different amounts of tools/weapons.
  • A new Large ship; bonus points if it's a guardian-hybrid.
  • Galaxy map combined filters; fix the filters first of course.
  • Store adjustments to have all items permanently available again.

That upper central part of the screen is already quite busy - destination information, indicators, wing... squeezing another massive (or at least relatively big) block there could mess it up completely.

But there is a dedicated place for BIG important warnings/notifications - the Info panel on the right. It has a style of warnings that appear in the big size text with an icon in the background (overcharge, scan...). Maybe it would be sufficient if in addition to a block appearing above radar - there could also be a big warning notification in the Info Panel "Disengage Ready!", with some kind of unique icon in the background (a target for example). Basically the same way as Overcharge, just a bit different visuals.
 
I agree ^^. My problem is they put it on top of the radar hologram. I don't need to see the warning any more, except in the rares cases where I'm approaching a remote station. Just put it somewhere else.
 
Buurpit posted a video about what he'd like to see in 2025.

Large and Huge Guardian/hybrid Turrets could solve the turret issue as well as Thargoid derived weaponry both capable of engineering Exploration would gain a huge boost with atmosphere planets, if not harvesting bio in certain asteroid fields (ice, water, microorganisms, etc), and most of all: weather patterns (which could telescope into radiation, nebula, and solar events: sunspots, flares, etc).
