JWE3 Species and Ideas wishlist

Leaellynasaura could be cool.

Why not something pseudo-accurate? That way it has the Jurassic style and also has some realism, which I don't understand why some people don't like it when it's not realistic, as if that was the goal.

I didn't say everything has to be accurate. I only meant for some species.

I didn't say everything has to be accurate. I only meant for some species.

Despite the depictions in Prehistoric Planet and Prehistoric Kingdom, I still see Velociraptor as not feathered and nearly as tall as Dryosaurus but not exactly. In my mind, the only feathered dromaeosaurs are Austroraptor (plausibly), Pyroraptor, Achillobator, and Utahraptor.

Despite the notable fossil discovery in Morocco's Kem Kem Beds and Prehistoric Kingdom, I see Spinosaurus as a biped having the tail of a typical theropod.

Due to the depiction in Dino Crisis 2, I see Mosasaurus as not having a fin-like tail. Even so, I have no issue with how Mosasaurus being portrayed in the Jurassic World films and Jurassic World: Evolution 2.

Although this is a rumor (take this with a grain of salt), I heard that Titanosaurus, Maiasaura (a better-looking one than the in-game Maiasaura), Aquilops, and (a more accurate) Spinosaurus (as well as, although controversially, genuinely scary mutant monster-like dinosaurs) will be in Jurassic World Rebirth. If true, hopefully all of these will be in Jurassic World Evolution 3, with Spinosaurus and Maiasaura having new variants based on their Rebirth film counterparts. :)

I ended up making an "ultimate wishlist" for JWE 3. I know I have a lot of potential ideas and I know not all of them will make it, but I honestly just did it for funsies!! Ended up including some references to Life On Our Planet not because it was good, but because of the Amblin connection.

New features:
  • Additional disasters: floods, heatwaves, lightning storms, wildfires
  • Animal breeding; works like any other zoo-sim game but some species can change sex through genome traits (ex: Velociraptors)
  • Balloon rides
  • Bridges; can go over rivers, exhibits, and maybe lagoons.
  • Cattle and pig prey feeders (can recycle rigs/models from PZ)
  • Cretaceous Cruise ride
  • Expedition Map overhaul; focuses more on continents rather than entire globe just so things aren't cluttered.
  • Hadrosaurs and sauropods being able to fight back properly.
  • Hatchery overhaul; only works with land dinosaurs/reptiles. New nursery building is used for animals that give live-birth both on sea and on land.
  • Island/Map generator
  • Holoscapes
  • Lagoon/Aviary overhaul
  • More animal behaviors!
  • Skin/texture variation: Can use all skins from JWE1 and 2 alongside new ones. Unique skin patterns/skins for specific species.
  • Petting zoos
  • Sanctuary/Site B Mode
  • Semiaquatic abilities retroactively given to already-present creatures (i.e. Archelon, Nothosaurus, Spinosaurus). Allow creatures to swim and enter lagoons.
  • Small animals are transported via crates and not the same "cage" used for big animals.
  • Submarine rides
  • Venom genetic ability in certain animals; cannot be changed or modified (Includes both types of compies, Dilophosaurus, Megalania, therocephalians, and troodontids).

Great list, but I also want Magyarosaurus as well (I just don't want Hatzegopteryx to be the only Hațeg Island species in the game).
