The Waterfowl Winners Club! 🦆 🪿 🦢

Too bad we can't get both... I would go with WFWD at the end of the day!
Yeah, my hope is we get lucky. However I think it would be nice to get some other waterfowl besides a duck too. We have a swan now, I would also like a goose and a duck. If I can go a step farther than that I would love a southern screamer.

At bare minimum this is my hope for waterfowl:
  1. Swan species 🌟 we have this one in the mute swan
  2. A goose species, personally I would like a Nene
  3. A temperate duck species, the mandarin duck would fit here
  4. A tropical duck species, preferably a species of whistling duck
If I can get another animal the screamer would be my choice. But this is the bare minimum waterfowl rep I would like.

Screamer would be cool because its unique!

I require a Mallard duck and Canadian goose to build a realistic native birds section of my zoos. A domesticated mallard and domestic Muscovy duck would be nice too for my petting zoos. I'd also take a domestic Greylag goose and/or a wild Greylag Goose and an Egpytian Goose (domestic and/or wild) for my petting zoo.

Also some non-waterfowl birds that are associated with water that would round-out North American birds nicely are Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, North Atlantic Cormorant, Great White Pelican, and Western (Sea)Gull.

On a walk I saw 4 species of duck!
  1. White cheeked pintail
  2. Ring necked duck
  3. Blue wheel teal (in photo below)
  4. Ruddy Duck (in photo below)
Also a bonus not waterfowl: common gallinule also in the photo

Well, here’s hoping the source code thing is wrong. Either way I’ve visited my local zoo the Sunset Zoo and the Henry Doorly Zoo and they had a lot cool waterfowl!

I’m gonna try and visit the Topeka Zoo soon, so here’s hoping I can see some more.
