Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Ah, that makes sense, they should call it the wiki warrant scanner. The problem is I have no place to put it, I haven't got a fuel scoop on my Krait, I usually stack identical kill missions (or very close) and get credit for both simultaneously, I think it's a bug.
If you have multiple missions "Eliminate x amount of faction Y pilots", each kill counts for all missions. This is a thing that happens exclusively in Elite, I've seen this in other games, too. I guess they don't have the means to discern these missions from each other.

Well, I take a threat level 8 with 80 kills and 7 days to complete it for 32 million credits the second mission with 72 kills (everything else the same) for 30 million credits I'll make 62 million after 80 kills plus bounties. They will send 6 assassins after me though, 3 for each contract and they like to interdict you on your way back for repairs. So yeah, it might be what you said, IDK.

I've joined the Brewer security forces in Minerva with the Stormbringer. So far, I've focused my attempts on the nav beacon, poking everything that has a "WANTED" stamp on their hull. Works quite well, so far. The most difficult opponent I had so far was in a Vulture. Really difficult to keep your guns pointing at these. The ones I feared the most were surprisingly easy to handle - the big fish like Anacondas and Clippers pop almost as fast as an Alliance Chieftain.
I'm contemplating to fetch the Interstellar Loadstar and try to haul some stuff for the other CG, but I'm not sure if I'm up to that task...
So did i.
I do some bounty hunting with Lilith, i have been looking for trouble in the resource sites.
If my ammo runs out i switch to the Type 8 (no name yet), and do some deliveries.

Yeah. Last night, I signed up for the other CG, too.
Spent most of my time in an Apex shuttle between Minerva and Sirius as I forgot to unload the Limpets from Stormbringer. Once I sorted that out, I hopped into Interstellar Loadstar, fetched some 300 tome of computer components (or whatever that was from the CG) and flew over to Minerva, making a nice profit (about 800k Cr) from that short trip.

It is easier to take one along on a ship with more utility slots, otherwise it is typical Elite with you having to make a decision over what you can afford to replace with it.
As with most Utility slot modules the A rated version is the power hog, sometimes I think engineering for speed is best but longer range is also good.

Stacking is much more tightly controlled now I believe than it used to be.

Had assassins after me during a bounty hunting CG years ago, the stupid ones that showed up at the RES were a great help for boosting my totals, the ones that jumped me on my way back to re-arm and repair were more of a pain,as I wasn’t much good at the interdiction game back then, I took to heading back a little early if I got the warning message so I was in shape for yet another fight.

This is a very rare one and very difficult to locate, Fumerola Extremus.

Been a busy couple of days. Now in an A-rated CMV, witrh a bit of spare cash. Not enough yet to go and buy grade 3 ground equipment - but I'm in the top 100 in both CGs (top 75, barely, in BH - but I doubt that's going to last), so the immediate financial needs should be taken care of when those CGs finish.

Got the invitation from Felicity, so next step would be to visit her, see if she still wants Meta Alloys and then go for a bit of corpse plundering in one of the Titan systems (don't forget the limpets!). Then probably for some local mat gathering.

Getting cash sure is faster now than 10 years ago...

Hi All :)

This post just made me think to ask a question...
I see you are wearing the "Smooth Criminal" special edition of the Artemis there. Nice.
Do any of you folks (if you hit whatever grade / Elite grade standing you get by searching bio's) upgrade your suit with 'Suit Cosmetics' . That is to say the ones given free when you reach a certain level, which appear automatically in suit loadouts, for instance the suit helmet , torso, legs etc.
Just as a side note, I've obtained the suit helmet (Elite) plus Exobiologist Geneticist for the torso chest plate / cosmetic plus the same grade of Exo Gen for the legs etc. for example.
I reckon I'm going to need a lot more bio's discovery's to get 'Elite' with the chest legs and other Artemis suit stuff, but again, as I've said it was just reading Markov's post that made me think of asking the question.
Incidentally, the only suit cosmetic I've actually bought (which is in the Holo-Me menu) was the 'aviators glasses', which for some reason was changed by Frontier at some point for I think what is now termed ' Metal framed glasses-Dark' (I don't know why they changed it?) I find that as I don't use the general suit cosmetic stuff very often (Or the Holo-Me menu) I have to scratch my head sometimes to remember how it all works. To be fair there's a lot of stuff in the game now to what was there in the Horizon days, so...🤷‍♂️

I am not using them now but I did add each new bit to my Artemis as I ranked up in Exobiology.

I did go "all in red" once when I'd got all the pieces but I ended up using that 50s retro spacesuit look.

I can't accurately remember what cosmetics I bought with ARX for personal/ground gear and holo-me but...

... I did buy some shades and, I think, the "cyber" face tats - although they might not have needed to actually be purchased.

I've bought suit skins and gun skins though. Quite a few actually. Some of them are visible in my previous posts on loadouts.

I put 'em on once, just to see what they look like, and then I shove them to the back of the closet. Worst cosmetics ever, really. I bought a few things that were less ridiculous, just so I didn't have to be all white plastic looking in my screenies :)
