I already saw a post of the first-ever station "built" by a CMDR. It was named "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa." Great stuff, eh?

However, I am very impressed with FDEVs ability to create true grind. The sheer amount of hauling required is almost beyond belief.

Fortunately for me, I have no interest in "colonizing" anyway.

People wanted "base building." We got "select pre-designed items and haul a butt-load of materials so you can watch them appear."

Oh well. It does appear that some people are enjoying it, so that's good.

I will remain out here far from the bubble doing my thing.

Sorry, I completely missed the sarcasm and I get your point.

Interesting about the potential grind. I'm not following any 10 trillion page colonisation threads so I'm relying on what I see here.

And you have to tell me where I can find those black holes.

ya i have no real interest in colonizing myself i will build a single outpost just to say "bin there done that" then i think i will be done with it as i am more combat oriented..........
i dont mind the odd bit of haulage trukkin now and then so i may revisit it periodically same as for minning & exploration roles etc
which i only occasionally dabble in.
also i am not a fan of meet this deadline or else that is just not under the banner or vein of "playing your own way" imo
with colonization you are simply locked into quite a demanding haulage contract.........

so i. just completed all the delivery requirments for my military outpost construction and the construction ship departed for inara
wasnt it suppose to buld an outpost or something i am a little confused at this point
whats more there is no record that i even took part other than some pictures i took
no parking.jpg

In one of the many colonisation threads there was a link to the 3 page long request form from Project IDA which requires your discord ID at the end.

Must admit, I've been enjoying a quiet chuckle at the bedlam of the colonisation threads. I have started to wonder what's going to happen when this first wave of enthusiasm dies down a bit... do all these new colonies get ignored, or are commanders going to spend the rest of time doing DIY in their new homes?

Meanwhile, I spent a couple of hours last night clocking up new discoveries, including one terraformable HMC with stratum tectonicas for a nice little bonus.
