Elite Dangerous | System Colonisation Beta Details & Feedback

So now there is a fleet carrier in my system belonging to another player sitting next to the colony beacon deployment spot. Am I going to get "claim jumped" and have all of my work handed over to another player? Geez this is a mess.

Outposts, coriolis and every type of planetside structure (except for one) seem reasonably doable solo.

But the planetary ports (big ones) and Ocellus/Orbis stations are way, way too much. Mind you it's like 11 times more work than a Coriolis which is already up there. Group efforts are already better, but there needs to either be a nerf to the commodity number specifically for the big, big projects, or some sort of mechanism to reduce the cost via building more small scale infrastructure.

I'm sorry but I build installations, settlements, etc... and it all works fine and I LOVE it. I build a Coriolis and I'm thinking yeah... this will take me a while, I'll only do this every once in a while otherwise I'd burn out of the game.

I look at buildin an Orbis and I just want to alt f4 on the spot.

Lost Architect status on my system. My system in my galmap is showing my system as full purple triangle. My neighbors are all red Xs.

No system showing in "My Colonies"

My problem is, the outpost did not go where I deployed the beacon. Then, after I finished it, I could not change the name or pay ARXs to do so.

So your complaint is:
  1. Grinding to build stuff is tiresome. - They should add NPCs for hire.
  2. No deconstruct button - I don't know why they didn't add that
  3. Complicated points - that should be explained better.
i can agree about the deconstruct option, I built some stuff without realising it effects my economy type, i want to refit the stations i have to influence my economy in a specific direction, but i cannot undo my builds, or edit them in any way
it would be pretty neat if you could edit what your construction site is building, for instance lets say you built a Coriolis but wanted an Ocellus instead, you could just, swap the build order but retain your delivered materials, and whatever isnt re allocated would be refunded as credits or something

I'm among the 10% of gamers who get headaches from certain activities. For example, from fighting on the ground. You need to constantly run around looking around, headaches and nausea will begin. That's why I don't like land-based activities. Please make an alternative to getting BGS points, for example, by contributing to colonization. However, I have already collected the modules of all the factions except the new one. This is a problem that new players may encounter.

We built an Orbis within a week.
49k Ls away from system entry point. Without using carriers.

2 CMDRs doing the grunt work (around 100k tons), one helping quite some with 18k and a few more with around 2-5k.

It's fine. Shouldn't be lower. It's perfectly achievable for even a small group. And without time constraints it is perfectly soloable.

You can haul 4k in an hour at a decent spot. So an orbis is something like 60 hours hauling. Get 10 people and you are done in 2 evenings. Do it yourself and you are done in one or two months, while not being overly active.

Coincidence?
My game is running sooooo much more smoothly (no more jerky, jerky frame drop type nonsense) since they 'turned off' colonisation last night.
Just me?
