(Why would they amalgamate two killers?)
there are a lot of things in the game that have never been seen in any other game.
Yeah, even I'm almost tempted to suffer the blight that is engineering and set flight into the black once again...Over the last few years of absence, I've kinda missed the experience of actually playing an entirely less bothersome space game... I'll wait till my new hotas arrives before deciding if I'm reinstalling ED and plodding through hours of setting bindings to my preferences, not to mention the Herculean task of relearning how to play...I've never even tried the 'new' version of mining, it's been so long. The last time I fired ED up (Just long enough to experience the blue circle of doom) was during the Odyssey betaI can only say that SC just became less important. I even closed my Spectrum tab. In a bit of a fit I also deleted the LIVE folder but I didn't use it, anyway.
I'm watching fun with other bugs right now:Source: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2400739540?t=01h04m32s
(they even bring in a healer with beams. eventually, they give up - for now)
As far as I observe, the cargo hauling business just high-waked out of Star Citizen while it takes the year off to find itself and rewrite all that code from scratch.
There's now a purpose to it that SC promised but didn't deliver, yet, Numbers must go down for a change and there's a button to push at the end and a new thing with landing pads exists in a global shared sandbox galaxy. With no "how can I destroy others' builds" as the first question that comes to mind. Instead, there's a co-op megathread. It's a space bob's paradise. And they do get their names logged forever in the station news.
This is not another Star Citizen Killer. This is just a free update. To a game I initially paid $6 for.
With pay-per-custom-named thing. Well played, FD. Shut up and take my ARX. Will there be Concierge tiers?
(Yes, it can still flounder because FD does get things horribly wrong, sometimes. But I can dream and theorycraft again. I rather go to festivals than wars.)
You should go ahead and ask for a refund before your two week window is up. You’re at the tip of the iceberg, except the iceberg is made of bugs.

Now, I know you‘ve probably heard it before, but engineering is really not much of a hazzle these days. You get much higher quantities of high grade materials in a shorter amount of time, and you need less of them to max out the modules.I'm almost tempted to suffer the blight that is engineering

Personally I‘m still not convinced, that maxing out everything was ever really necessary. But it certainly is much more achievable now than it was before.
