I know it doesn't mean much, but the Coati not being the headliner makes me worry of its existance in the pack.
That said, I'm currently working on an all-america zoo because I hoped for a pack like this, so I'm happy for now.
I can kind of see a tail but I'm not sure
How I feel about the new pack so far...
I wanted a Bighorn Sheep and I hope its a Desert subspecies or at least has desert as a potential biome... American Flamingo is the most iconic of an iconic type of animals. They are soooo very beautiful with their bright pink colors... I'm grateful to finish the big flightless birds. What used to be my local zoo has Rheas so its cool to see them officially in game. Lastly, the Coyote. Of canids, I was least excited about coyote. However, he is such a beautifully done animal... I feel like it could pass for a golden jackal sub. I wasn't sure if it was a Coyote or Jackal at first actually... I'm so ecstatic to have a new dog again. Especially one that beautiful and iconic.

My current thinking is that it's a "Latin America" pack with Central America/Mexico-themed scenery items based on the general vibe of the key art, the flags, and the hanging sombrero.
Also explains why the coyote got the showcase instead of some of the other options. Those work with the theme/region but wouldn't match the scenery they're kinda showcasing.
ironically out of all the animals the one that i see the biggest use right away is the bighorn, lol.

Also of all the countries mexico is considered a mega diverse country is huge and cover multiple biomes so is a good candidate for a pack dedicated to it
Me too! I'm actually almost on cloud nine for the moment lol. There's stuff going on in my family and PZ was great today!
Rheas are savanna animals, not desert. Flamingos don't live in deserts. Sakis (if that's what it is) are obviously tropical animals. I really don't get what you're trying to say hereoh my god, TROPICAL SCENERYMAKE ENTIRE LATIN AMERICA DESERT
What I hope for is that they did not choose the coati on the cover because it would be similar to the Raccoon from Twillight and they have not used a dog on a cover yet.
There is still hope for the Coati. Fingers crossed.

Guys guys. Yes the coyete is kind of dissapointing (and unnecesary?) but let's analize this:
So as usual.in Frontier's style not the optimal roster (even considering other clones like ocelot and brazilian tapir) but it has a lot of positives!
- we get two birds (two clones granted but two important ones... Still waiting for that duck though)
- we also get a new world monkey! And a very pretty one too, super cute. Not the ones everyone has been speculating about but a very unique and interesting species regardless.
- the arid feel gives room for mara and white nosed coati as well.
- is the first pack we'll get a.monkey and two birds and the third primate in a row!
- is pack that bring us back to the americas, soemthing we have been asking for a long a time.
- there is probably going to be another pack down the line and there is one more anniversary in novembee, american black bear is still possible.

Currently the ratio is 2 (NA) to 3 (SA) so I bet we get 1 more of each. Coati and Mara perhaps?

- It’s another 7 animal + scenery type pack.
- Saki, Coyote, Rhea, Flamingo 2, and Bighorn Sheep confirmed with 2 more to go.
- 2 most likely themes are Latin America and what I believe, Americas.
