As in, from Gone in Sixty Seconds.
A ship that you like the idea of but it never seems to work out;- something always goes wrong, it's just not as good as you need or you just can't find a use for?
For me, it's the Keelback.
Love the flappy thrusters and I truly believe it's ED's "Millennium Falcon" ship but it's just... hopeless.
It's not big enough to be a decent cargo ship, it doesn't have the hardpoints or internal slots to be a mining ship, it's not fast enough or tough enough to be a blockade runner, it's jump range is mediocre at best and, basically, there's always a better ship for the job.
I ask because I've just bought another one... and this time I've doubled-down by buying a ship-kit and a paint job for it.
I've got an idea for it and this time, hopefully, it might work out.
Fitted it with all the modules it needs but it still needs engineering.
Then, finally, I might end up with a useful Keelback to add to my fleet.
