All ships in the game follow the law of Physics known as "Because FDev say so".Do we?
I don't.
Larger ship, more cargo.
Although equally, the closer they have it to a Cutter's capacity, the less people will be inclined to pay real money for one.My estimate: Cautious escalation of stats like with the equally much anticipated jump range of the Mandalay when it was announced. At the very most, I expect it to have maybe 2xC8, 4xC7 (or equivalent) = 1024t and a few small slots for flight assistants or other bits. At minimum, just scratching 800t to exceed the Cutter by the lowest possible margin which would give you an SCO-optimised Cutter without the rank requirement. Should it turn out much bigger to satisfy all the colonisers' wet dreams, it would mean a change of direction in development.

Could be 800t, could be 8000t - Because FDev say so. It's literally guesswork until they confirm it.

Oh of course, but those systems - I have 3-4 of them - should be neglected. Move on and colonize more, for me only those with HMC planets with planetary build possible are worth the effort. And there it works magnificent now.Not if the system you managed to get your paws on in a region you wanted to have a system in only has icy worlds![]()
Maybe, but you could say the same about the Mandalay which many expected to break the 100 ly barrier. Yet it is a huge success even for other roles than just exploration. People tend to focus on only one number when a new product is announced, after release this dissipates and you discover all the possibilies. An SCO-optimised Cutter-equivalent obtainable for ARX instead of the rank grind would still be a winner, I think.Although equally, the closer they have it to a Cutter's capacity, the less people will be inclined to pay real money for one.
Well I'm an optimistic pessimist, on the basis that I'm either right about something, or pleasantly surprised to be wrong.6101t capacity
100 Ly jump
Can Mass Lock a gas giant
777 M/s in free space, fully laden
So well shielded and armoured it can crash into the aforementioned GG and move it somewhere convenient in the system.
But then, I know as well as others this is just a fabrication - it seems both FD and players enjoy absolutely bland... (going from comments made by others when I've had a little fun fabrication, good is bad...)
Oh a fat grown up Hauler I would say
So now they got the smallest and the largest cargo ships in the game, that's funny
That's true. I hadn't thought about all those far flung stations with good prices of stuff that even in a SCO FSD Cutter are a pain to get to.Maybe, but you could say the same about the Mandalay which many expected to break the 100 ly barrier. But ... but this time it's special![]()
Panther? Too small. Griffin next pls
Is there a ship called the Puma by any chance?Lynx Bulk Carrier.
Is this how they create panthers, they give birth to little panthers?
