They couldn't hope for a better excuse than GTAVI slipping into 2026.One of the claimed ex-CIG devs on refunds cropped up again...
Luckily for you, you are 100% safe from this predatory monetisation, as the early access ships are - so lucky! - not available on Mac.Yeah, or early access ships.
I donāt know man, āturretsā seems like a much more fundamental and minimum requirement element of a space sim game, that should not be part of any kind of piece meal monetización, never mind p2w discussion, at all. And yet in the case of SC it may be.Yeah, or early access ships.
I get the point, it's good for Frontier to do it, but terrible if CIG do it.I donāt know man, āturretsā seems a much more fundamental and minimum requirement element of a space sim game, that should not be part of any kind of piece meal monetización, never mind p2w discussion, at all. Not really. I, for one, absolutely think FDEV early access ships are P2W. No doubt about it.I get the point, it's good for Frontier to do it, but terrible if CIG do it.
But surely you can't 'win' Star Citizen, so it must be okay?
Also, the price mattersNot really. I, for one, absolutely think FDEV early access ships are P2W. No doubt about it.
But the key in p2w is the degree of it. Some instances of p2w can be much more easily tolerated by both the player base AND the game balancing and gameplay. In the case of SC its P2W is probably among the more savagely and shamelessly monetized out there AND among the ones that more effectively destroy the game balance and gameplay itself.
The squadron 42 trailer look impressive maybe they should do animation films
Oh? So there's a chance they won't suck, if Chris doesn't write themThe scripts practically write themselves!
I dunnoThey couldn't hope for a better excuse than GTAVI slipping into 2026.
I bought my crafting machine in the store in 2013 [...]

I assume that was just sold as a decorative item, right?
I jumped the boat 2015 and lost recognition of the ancient stretch goals and gameplay plans from the elder days.
It was sold under the premise that it would be used for 'overclocking' gear/components - which then more recently became crafting with rare components resources to improve stats instead.
EDIT: Source for the downvoters that it wasn't sold merely as a decoration:

While we see the Endeavorās supercollider (name change pending, re: science!) as the ultimate tool for this task, the climb to that level will start with the already-offered workbench.
I had a quick look yesterday at "The Idris Experience"(The Idris doors also get stuck open after damage, but that's just an old 'ramps get stuck' bug)
I meant in the industry there's a "you don't release a game the year a GTA is released" mottoI dunno
By SC Backer rules that means it's only been in dev for 5 years. Checkmate!![]()
