Hi!
I was planning to do some data mining. Now I was wondering if there are any dumps that contain the number of viisits/jumps to all systems (so that I can sort by most visited and such).

I found dumps, but none that contained the information. I also found the EDSM-HTTP-API, that allows querying the information per system, but I need the information for all systems at once.

Alternative would be to download and process raw journal files, what though probably would mean processing a way huger bunch of data that I can handle on my system.

Any ideas? Do there already exist dumps with that information and I just did not yet found it? Or anyone got another idea how I can get to that data?

(UPDATED: I realized I did NOT register on EDSM with Frontier CMDR name or ID, so by email only I registered as a new CMDR on EDSM, and this seems to be the cause for my issue here, but as stated below, If I request name change, my caps are lower case on actual CMDR name and EDSM replies 'that name is not available'...my CMDR name is taken?? I never register on EDSM before I don't think. EDMC still says 'ERROR: EDSM missing CMDR name')

(UPDATE: I am confused about the EDSM Journal File upload method. Can someone explain it? What file location and such?

My FDEV ED logs are in AppData/local/etc.. but something is seeming off to me...is there another file folder for player/commander journals? What do they look like? Does this resolve my other issues if I upload a CMDR journal file only?)

Solved: I deleted my profile so to just restart the process with Frontier login...lol...nm (for now)

To say that I am supremely unimpressed by this is an understatement. Yes, I have been inactive as my current life circumstances prevent me from playing ED. However I was hoping to resume at some point. Having the account deleted with no prior warning is incredibly poor form. I very much hope the account details are still in the system and can be recovered.

Apologies for airing this publicly, but I was unable to find an email address to contact @AnthorNet / EDSM on privately.

I would like to log in to EDSM and visit my CMDR's personal page but somehow I cannot seem to get there.
My frontier account is linked and if I log in via Frontier Auth Service, I always only get back to the log in page. The menu under the commander icon only shows "register" and "log in". If I go to log in again, I can coose "continue as ...", so I seem to actually be logged in.
Am I stupid or is there anything wrong with my account?

Yes there where a bunch of system renames with Update 3.4 (23. April 2019).

They are in fact still in the game, you can still search systems using old names even if a system has been renamed, you just can't see them in game.

Hi, I have a question after having been in this sector of the galaxy and having explored hundreds of systems at this point. How is my EDSM codex so empty even when my flight log on EDSM is filled with thousands of entries from the last week? I'm first discoverer of the vast majority of these systems. I'm running E: D Market Connector while playing. Also, why is my travel map so utterly broken? No, I'm not teleporting back and forth to Sol every day or two from 12000 ly away. Is there any way to reset things and re-upload my logs if necessary?

Don't believe the EDSM Codex is working platform at the moment, not for a few years, and the funny jump data has also been happening for years, you should use your own in game codex and use something like EDDiscovery to look at travel maps.
