Greetings, commanders!

I'm just started my first colony with Coriolis station above Water World on the edge on the Bubble. I want to build HighTech/Exploration hub for explorers on that direction and store there my own fleet too.

I'm playing Elite almost since release, but left game few years ago because tired of grind and has not so much of time, so i skipped Fleet Carriers and don't have one. Trailblazers got me back, but this grind again and with timer... I really want to build this station, but work and children left small time for games, so I'm asking for help :)

I would by very appreciate for any help with my first colony.

So as you know, the Coriolis doesn't have Universal Cartography Open by default.
Further expansion will be required if you build a Coriolis.

I personally use Tier 3 Space Stations for this Purpose.
It's quicker to identify if a System has the ability, as ALL Tier 3 Space Ports have the ability Baked-In.



It will come down to Tech-Level and Development Level.
You will also need some Space Structures (Installations) to Enable the ability.
I'm not 100% sure on the specifics, however, I make sure that I always have a Satellite, Relay Station, and Communications Station.

Thank you for advice, I’m understand that I’ll need additional construction for Universal Cartography, but I play solo and can’t build a T3 station first just by myself, I’m planning to build extra construction to unblock Cartographics, but without timer

System : Synuefe JN-X b48-6
Building : TLAX Eastern HQ [L3 Space Port]

Reason: The system is being set up, so that it can be a main supply depot for everyone in the sector. It has alot of metals and composities on the various planets (as found on the smaller stations in system) that require a decent sized station to pull these across the whole system into a single one stop shop. Its currrently just over 50% done, but would really appeciate some help to get it finished as its been abit of a slog.

The Inara link is here for it https://inara.cz/elite/station-depot/812804/ and it mainly needs just volume of metals (Aluminum - 33K & Titanium - 32K ) and Liquid Oxygen - 15K.

The system hasnt any HMCs/MRCs or Gas giants with rings. Its mainly for farming products good and some base materials. Look on the body list of one of my systems: HIP 20580 Current Construction.

It isnt critism. Just the truth. I you want to become a local center for essential goods you need a good base of different bodies. Ice planets are the counterpart of being effective production lines for stations. Metal rich bodies/High metal bodies/Metal rich rings are essential for goods like steel and CMM components for the colonisation around the sector.

Col 285 Sector QT-G c11-13

I'm posting this now, rather than later, as there is a Heat Wave due any day now.
It's a Tier 3, and once complete, it will be 1 of 3 Planned Tier 3 Space Ports in the System.

The coming Heat Wave might cook my Computer, so, I'm going to try to get what I can done, but, I will need assistance with it I think.
If the Heat Wave is as bad as they say it will be, then, I may be Offline for the duration of the Heat Wave.
My Carrier is on its way there now, so, it will be unloaded of its supply throughout what remains of today.

The Timer just started on it, but, like I said, the coming Heat Wave might Cook the Computer, preventing me from posting here later down the line.
I intend the System to house Multiple Economies, but most Importantly, it's a Memorial System.
Priority Resources are Aluminium, CMM Composite, Steel, and Titanium.

So in your opinion I should be declined any help I asked for in favor of your own style of building because it does not meet your meta. I am saddened by this and will muddle regardless. Once completed I will be sure to post a picture of what the eventual stocked items will be for people to make their own judgements.
