the stick insect wasn't actually known to be scrapped until after the pack released, and was only known to be planned via concept art posted by one of the artists.

Doubting the elephant because of the arctic pack coverart was always such an odd thing to rely on. At least the Asian deer requests have been met with probably the best species with the pere david's deer.
