Completing Zoo Tycoon 2: How far we've come?

Out of these i want:

1. Sea otter
2. Musk ox
3. Gerenuk
4. Serval
5. Rockhopper penguin
6. Secretary bird
7. Nile crocodile
8. Gelada

I don't think we are getting sea turtles (idk why we are counting them but not the manatees? We shouldn't count either but anyway). Walrus is iconic enough that i wouldn't care if added but not really something i actively want over the other animals. Same with ABB, i just want it for the sake of completion.
Sea Turtles can work as the game is currently constructed. They go on land

Only females when laying eggs. And honestly, having sea turtles without fish would just make their tanks look barren (see also:manatees)
This just isnt true green sea turtles in hawaii are documented regularly going on shore to sunbathes and this brought up every time someone talks about sea turtles. However I agree that a proper fully aquatic tank will look pretty barren and the only viable tank system for sea turtles would be a very coastal themed tank like what you would use for seals not something typically used for sea turtles in captivity.

Anyone knows which species in Planet Zoo have never ever been in any zoo game? Not only zoo tycoon 1&2
I'll have to eliminate Facebook/mobile games due to their immense excess and poor cataloguing. This is my best shot at things:

both the alpaca and himalayan brown bear are in zoo tycoon xbox same with binturong.

Also from what I can see lets build a zoo also has wild boar and potentially porcupine, donkey, skunk and badger but due to the limited accuracy of the naming and the ingame variance they are not perfect matches.

Edit: bonobos and spectacled caiman are also in zootycoon x

Exactly the above. Everytime someone brings this up it gets corrected. And they have bred in captivity as well! Hawksbill sea turtles in Japan. So truly it’s just a matter of if you’re cool with them without tank mates and personally as someone who has played a bunch of zt2 and grew up with SeaWorld, yes I’m cool with them being alone

Curious ... I thought The list was longer🤔
This list is factoring in these games:
  • Zoo Tycoon
  • Zoo Tycoon 2
  • Zoo Tycoon (XBox)
  • Wildlife Park
  • Wildlife Park 2
  • Wildlife Park 3
  • Zoo Empire
There are other notable games in the genre like World of Zoo, Let's Build a Zoo, Zoo Kingdom, and Zoo Constructor. I just wanted to stick with a few key games since otherwise there'd probably be nothing unique in Planet Zoo

Sea turtle imo is in the same boat (submarine lol) as the epaulette shark.

-Would this be an amazing animal to have? Hell yeah
-Could this animal technically be a regular habitat animal because it can move about on land? Yeah i guess so
-Is this how these animals are kept irl? No
-Has it any business being here without other aquarium animals? Also no, not really.

I mean, epaulette sharks still need to breathe in the water even if they can manage a few hours on land. Sea turtles have lungs, so land isn't as much of an issue.

Edit: might be a hot take but honestly I think epaulette sharks could work in the Exhibit boxes if anything. they're usually under a meter long, and they don't move that much on the seafloor.

Yea idk about that one. Sea Turtle having lungs and breathing air has a lot to do with it. They sunbathe as well for extended periods

Sea turtles also cant stay out of the water indefinitely
