Planet Zoo | Asia Animal Pack | Announcement

How Are You Only Starting The Campaign Now?
Basically... I started playing Planet Zoo in March 2020, but before that I spend months watching YouTube videos... So, by the time I started playing, I already had the game mostly figured out and I felt like I didn't need to play career mode. As for everything else that I didn't learn from videos... I just messed around and found out.

It's fun TBH, and it's a nice way to revisit the base game after all this time of playing with mostly DLC animals and pieces.
I particularly enjoyed the Greek scenario, the terrain was really fun to work with

That Makes Sense.

I have played mostly sandbox, but I have dabbled in campaign and franchise. Franchise is what I've been doing currently, idk why but it gave me inspiration after I hadn't been having the motivation to build in sandbox. However when I do play franchise all my building skills go out the window..

People play the campaign? Bless your souls for enduring that

You're missing incredible lore.

Am I the only one who started in campaign mode? I started playing sandbox mode after I got all the gold medals in campaign mode. Of course, I didn't spend much time in time trial mode. I don't like that kind of challenge because if you want to get the rewards, your zoo must be like a very low-level farm.
I also sometimes try to modify the zoo in the campaign mode, which is another very fun way to play.

Campaigns are great but I hate the timed ones - it was a horrible idea.
Still have 2 I haven’t finished yet.

I always start my new dlc journey with the campaign. I really like campaign maps too. Wished they would provide zoos from the trailers in campaign modes but they are usually just a scrap of it.

I have played all career scenarios, even the stressful times ones. Those rewards statues aren't going to unlock themselves!
Well... yes, they are :ROFLMAO: Planet Zoo Plus saved my sanity.
I admire those having the patience to play the scenarios, but.. no. Just no. Hours of problem solving and a game telling me what to do next... just the thought of it drives me up a wall. Plus, the stories are usually to cheezy for me. There is one YouTuber I watch play the campaigns though, to get an idea of the story line and some hints.

I did the first 2 or 3 levels in campaign, everything else I had to learn I got from YT.

2.697 hours and counting and maybe spend 5 hours in campaign.
