COMPLETED CG Delaine Targets Imperial Forces in Beta-3 Tucani (Combat)

After last night's extensive combating, I stupidly handed in the Bonds at a Combat Bonds Contact in another system, haha!
Back to the drawing board!
Glad I read through this thread before launching into the CG.

I would be handing bonds in as normal and wondering why I wasn't contributing. Not to mention there being no Frontline at Mictlan.

Not especially clear IMHO, but now I know...

In all fairness, it is nothing new that these opposing CGs have a station location to hand in bonds at and the other side usually a megaship, when they’re in the same system. There may be some exceptions to this when both own a large port within the same system but I’d have to go dig some to find one.

As for why the Mictlan doesn’t have all the services… I would shrug and say “Megaships”. Dockable ones tend to be a little all over in what they do and don’t offer.

For anyone new to CG:
Combat Bonds MUST be handed in on the Mictlan, specifically at the Combat Bond Contact in Contacts menu next to Shipyard (which is disabled).
Then check your contribution to CG in Mission Board, Community Goals, Progress, it will show progess immediately and if you are signed up or not
Right.

Now I'm confused.

I signed up (campaign targets Archon Delanie). Went to Bakewell Platform and selected a GCZ (Lafitte Biological Assembly). Did the pewpew and won the day. Shuttled back to Bakewell, got on my ship and went to Mictlan.

Opened up the contacts, then the combat bond contact. Handed them in.

Re-logged (as I've heard this needs doing before they "register")

Opened the mission board from my ship, then community goals then then selected the CG side I was fighting for (campaign targets Archon Delanie) - and it dos say I'm signed up.

No contribution. 0 credits earned.

Can someone please point out what step or something I've clearly missed?

Thanks.

You signed up to the side that fights the pirates (which is “Campaign targets Archon Delaine”) then handed in the bonds at the location for supporting the pirates/Kumo Council. Bakewell in the system is where you hand in Imperial combat bonds.

If you want to support Kumo/Delaine, pick “Delaine targets Imperial Forces” and hand in bonds at the Mictlan. This is the thread for the pirates/Kumo.

WTG Tyres :).
Understandable BTW.
But this is thread for 'Delaine targets IMPERIAL FORCES.....' Thats why I stated the procedure necessary for supporting and turning in bonds for Kumo Crew Pirates/Delaine as it is not exactly explicit in the CG text for some (especially non English speakers I suppose).
You needed to hand in Combat Bonds at Bakewell for ALD CG!

Well, wasted 3 or 4 hours today. Happy with my beautiful K2 (ex-Titan Bomber!) so far in the CG, I (stupidly) chose to try out P2 (with 1 more Large HP).

Well - that didn't go well - EXTREMELY under powered with 6A overcharged PP and still went through WEA pips too fast with the extra Long Range Beam.
AND, it only had room for 1 size 3 HRP and 1 size 3 MRP!!!! TCH, TCH, TCH!

Back to the K2 which can plough through both the CZ's next to Bakewell (high and low) and start again (if I want to)!
It has a 5DHRP AND a 5DMRP AND a 4DHRP AND a 3DHRP and a 3DMRP AND a 6D fighter Hanger (which I use only to distract targets as my 100% Deadly Crew has been actually quite useless for about 2 years now)

Yeah. Posted on the wrong thread because I didn't understand what I was doing :D

Just submit 1 combat bond to any side as it is, to get a size 2 and a size 3 Seeker Missile, it is doubtful you will need 2 of each on any ship anyways.
The FSD Interrupt experimental sounds great though, and could be related to a further/future storyline, so deffo worth getting IMHO.

I have only used 1 or 2 x 2B seekers with Drag Experimental or Thermal Overload for PVE pew pew and so single a 3A on its own may be great.

In this case, 40,000 merits would be about 5 bonus ranks to any ALD pledges signed up to the ALD side. Roughly equivalent to a week or so of bonus progress for someone who is engaging with Powerplay a median amount, or a good starter bonus for someone just signing up.

Can't wait for LYR's turn.
I would like to say "same", but it'll probably come to late for me. I've used the allocation of 400t Soontill Relics last week and made it to rank 95 before allocation dropped back down to 80. I'll probably be done with level 100 before that CG comes.
