New ship: Panther Clipper

Size comparision.

I really like this ship, but I accept the fact this is (visually) smaller version of how we remember historical and legendary PC Mk 1, and that's totally fine!
And I did one for exploration and exobiology (it has everything like two SRVs, limpets, and Fighter Hangar and still can do 50 Ly jump), but it is hard to land, and I don't mean just like usual big ship, just like it is some issue with landing indicator or smth. I am not sure. (And I have to compare exobio version of Beluga, Type-7, Imperial Clipper, Corvette and did even Type-9 and 10).

And it doesn't boost it deploys a nuke behind the ship ;)

I did it just because I think it is interesting, but tbh you can't say this ship is small, or looks small:

And banana for scale:

The width and height are big. The length is too short. There's over 60 meters of empty space on the pad.

There are 399.9 meters long container ships on Earth (see the MSC Irina). The beam is 61.3 meters. The PC Mk II is merely 146.86m long. Real-life cargo ships would be much bigger in space, because they're not limited by rivers, narrow canals or other geographic obstacles. They could be 10-1000 kilometers long.

Here, 60 meters shorter than Beluga. And that's what my PC III corrected :)

Did I miss some annoncement where they promised to make a ship filling the pad? This "requirement" to make it longer is a total fantasy and expecting there will be a longer version (because Frontier left room for it!) is total copium.

Does anyone else have issues getting a FSD overcharge in a neutron star? I was trying last night for maybe 5 minutes to get the boost but it never applied? Gave me the warnings and the damage just not the boosted jump range.
No problem on my end, you may have forgotten to equip a fuel scoop

Did I? I don't remember, ny brain is too spongy for that. Also, who cares what I said yesterday 😁. I do remember I always said the Thargoid war should burn the bubble. Surely that includes Sol, no?
Sorry mate, the English "you" as singular and plural made the confusion. It was not on you singular, but you plural (as "the forum"). :)

EDIT
English people, you really should bring back "thou" and "ye" :D

Holy carp, the traffic through my nothing-worth-stopping-for system yesterday was the usual ones and twos of various ships... and 18 Panther Clippers!?!

Like within hours of release, most traffic in the game was overwhelmingly Panther Clippers!
(While possible, I doubt all those hits was the same CMDR doing a trade loop, the economy here is too small and produces too little to be of interest, it's likely that most were CMDR's passing through on the way to somewhere interesting)

I'm about to do some traveling myself, I'll have to check the traffic reports of other systems while I'm out and about, to see if this happened throughout the game or if my system is an anomaly.

Update: It's every system! The spike seems to be subsiding, but even now every system seems to have AT LEAST twice as much Panther Clipper traffic as the next-most-popular ship

Panther Clipper MkVI available from Brewer Corporation, purchaser must supply the necessary shipbuilding supplies including 80,000T of titanium

They'll sell you a PC MkV to help you purchase the PC MkVI. It's Pather Clipper sales all the way to the bank...
