I got an advanced docking computer for it. It's definitely needed for landing. You can't see the pad at all. But after some ... incidents coming out of the stations, I think I'm going to disable that part and do it manually.
The engineering is tricky, but you can key the autodock to turn off when you deploy weapons if you get the power just right.That's my SOP for the Cutter: auto-dock, manual undock.
Now if only we had a keybind for turning the ADC on/off...
In practice it's actually only two keystrokes: open right panel directly in modules tab, hit spacebar to turn ADC on/off. Both tab and selected module are persistent, so it's a good trade off for the keybind, I guess.
