I wonder how small a group of people we actually are? Do we have an idea of the E.d. DK2 community size?

Wait, what, you're saying there are people out there playing ED without a rift for extended periods of time? Isn't that bad for your eyesight or health or sense of well being or something?

I can't remember exactly where I saw it, but a few months ago there was a survey asking about those that play with or without a Rift, and it was around 12% for Rift users. If thats correct, then I expect it to maybe be closer to 20% by now.

I only play this game with the Rift, but am also having the same lighting issue as everyone else, so no playtime for me atm.

Oculus DK2 with single EVGA 780Ti Superclocked with 344.75 nVidia drivers.

I had the afternoon off. My eagerness and joy turned to lament and sorrow. 1st world problems.

Last night I finally got my cobra back... I made the last credits while closing my right Eye everytime I docked in the stations... it was painfull... but worth it... I slept like a baby! Now it's time to get back to work! Please, I need It, because I love your game Frontier!

20% or even 12% is a pretty big community if there's 100,000+ players currently. I wonder how many bought a DK2 specifically for E.d. like me. Like so many on this thread I'm just not wanting to go back to a monitor having enjoyed the immersion of the DK2 in this game, although that's also partly due to the fact I can't be bothered to work out my bindings when I've got them just the way I want for the DK2. Would be great if the settings could have 2 or more binding setups so if you needed to play without your oculus, you could just load config 2 or whatever.

Dude if I took life that seriously I would be starting topics on 'refunds' & 'Boredom' I don't really think keeping my girl sweet and missing out on a night of VR is anything to cry about, would most certainly laugh at myself for going through so much hassle for a game, but I'm not going to get p'ed off about it.

Well i celebrated the DK2 pause by going old school screen, and fcked landing up crashing my fresh Asp in the wall. Insurance didnt cover enough...omg..facepalm... :)
I would never have done that in (v)reality.

Oh well! Free sidewinder and 1000cr? cant beat the feeling!
