You can have multiple bindings saved. All you have to do is make a copy of you custom.binds file in "C:\Users\"UserName"\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings" Rename it to something else and it will show up the the bindings menu ingame as a option from the drop down menu (found this out by accident when manually adding the <HyperSuperCombination> and <Supercruise> in Beta 3.9 since it gave me an error at the time saying they where missing and I made a copy of the file before editing it and it suddenly showed up as a drop down option)20% or even 12% is a pretty big community if there's 100,000+ players currently. I wonder how many bought a DK2 specifically for E.d. like me. Like so many on this thread I'm just not wanting to go back to a monitor having enjoyed the immersion of the DK2 in this game, although that's also partly due to the fact I can't be bothered to work out my bindings when I've got them just the way I want for the DK2. Would be great if the settings could have 2 or more binding setups so if you needed to play without your oculus, you could just load config 2 or whatever.
And I just got to Sol, before the new patch came out.
I might actually be force to play in 2d. But I don't have my trackIR set up!

Yep, I have a triple screen setup but I have no desire to use it for E : D. DK2 Hotfix please Frontier.Tried to play on a monitor again tonight. Nope, it's just not going to happen for me. What a bummer.
To me not having the Rift just highlights how much the game is lacking. I mean if it was a compelling game I'd be playing it with or without Rift.
With this bug I've realised that it would seem that the ONLY reason I fire up the game is to get get the VR experience.
Kinda sad.
I couldn't help it and played for about 3.5hrs tonight in my DK2. The right eye problem was there but I just dealt with it. I don't know if it was like this before, but direct mode worked perfectly. I found this out by accident because I had switched to direct mode to play iRacing and forgot to go to extended before launching E: D. All was well though and it works great, buttery smooth even in stations. I hope whatever fix they do next does not break direct mode!
Not with me. Apart of framerate issues, the problem with the right eye is still there in direct mode.
