Yeah +1 on that. Aside from the lighting issue, frame rates are much improved.

Hope you guys can "hot fix" this one so we don't have to wait for a more substantial round of bug squashing before we can play. I realise we're a small group and all that but, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already. :D

Just can't go back to a monitor.

Really the worst timing for me :( got a day off not only from my job, but also from my family and all I wanted to do was playing E: D with OR. Is there some workaround if we dont get the fix soon ?

You could always set it as a Blocker..(then the man with the ladder would come to replace it before he goes out for a smoke ;) )

Ben Perry do you think we get a fix today. Cause if not i think i get some beers and go to a friend, other wise i keep sitting here with my rift in my hands and starring at this post ;)

Note that it doesn't break the game. You can still play (other Gamma 1.01 issues aside), and you can still see out of your right eye, it's just that objects are not correctly lit with the right eye so it looks a bit... odd. Hard to describe. You could also go full-on pirate and wear an eye patch on your right eye. ;)

Last time I gave an unofficial ETA for a fix for something I broke, the thing I'd fixed got held back for a week. I'd prefer not to tempt fate. :)

PS you are doing me a favour.... I am fighting not to burn out in gamma, but I fear had you not have broken it for me I would have failed dismally and ploughed on anyway..

feel free to hold off on the fix till the 16th ;)

If I close my right eye I get a judder free experience in VR for the first time at max details! You did improve performance, so its not all bad. ;)
