I keep reading people talking about the Oculus Rift, in the sense that once they try VR, they never want to go back.
I'm torn whether I should get one now, or wait until the release version is out.
Am hoping to have feedback from those that do own one. Buy, or wait a year...?
You can read text ok. Its not brilliant, but ignore those that say you cant, because you can.

Apparently Bob knows you can read text, I think he really means he can read the text, seems to me looking round the forum more people are unhappy with it than happy, perhaps people with really good eyesight can manage..
Anyway why not buy one and try, if you don't like it put it on ebay[/QUOTE
I know what i mean, i can read text like lots of others. perhaps you need to stop altering what people say into things that you want, and trolling, as you clearly have some beef with the rift.

You actually told the OP "You can read text", whilst having absolutely no idea about the condition of his eyesight....sigh
I also recommended the only way he will know is by trying one...stop trolling
I am in the same boat as you. I have been really wanting to get a DK2 but I keep hearing the same things about the resolution not being there yet. Even the guy at the ED premiere said the same thing. That was a surprise to see at a games premiere, but I loved how he was being honest.

You are just missing the point entirely, it was a linguistic one, you told him "you can read the text", when really you should have said " I can read the text" it was merely a grammatical error I had to point out, since you have absolutely no clue as to whether he could read the text or not, only whether you can..simple really.
