Are you sure you're comparing the selling price, and not the profit? Since he got them for nothing, I'd expect his to show 100% profit.
Yup. Profit for me was ~10k, selling price was ~16k. Profit for him was ~18k and selling price was also ~18k.

Has anyone tested these rare commodities as stolen goods, does there price still increase on the black market?
next time I see a cmdr in game I might ask him to take a few off me to see what it does.

spreadsheet updated too. You can now find the new systems, but also factions color for systems, new datas for stations distance, commodities price or supply, and some good links !

Berty, I think a good strategy is to sacrifice some cargo for a bigger fuel scoop. Faster travel and less risk, I ran an A5 on my asp and did one full speed pass on each star. Usually it was done scooping before I exited the galaxy map and most of the time I arrived with a full tank. Haven't tried in an L9 so don't know what options are available but if you spend 5 extra minutes scooping I think it'd be worth it to go up 1 class at least.

I think a fuel scoop is important, just to avoid running out, but I agree that using a size 5 slot for it is a bit of a waste! An A5 on your asp meant you were sacrificing 32 tonnes of cargo...
It's about speed vs cargo, I made the run in under 10 minutes each way. With 32 tons more cargo I wouldn't be able to take the same route. I later experimented with an A3 scoop instead and got almost exactly the same profit/hour so in an Asp there's not a huge difference either way.An A5 on your asp meant you were sacrificing 32 tonnes of cargo...
That's a huge drop in profit of close to half a million credit per run.
Your fuel will never cost you as much.

Is anyone playing at the moment and have you noticed a change in rares availability after the server-side update today?
If running an asp you're perfectly fine using one of the size 2 slots for a high quality scoop. I do my runs with a 120t no shield asp and a A5 FSD now and it's not exactly long covering the 150LY per run...
What I'm not settled on yet is 16T or 32T fuel tank... But I'm leaning towards 16T to maximise my single jump range.
I'm in Chi Eridani, and I have not noticed any changes in supply. I guess it hasn't been applied yet.
