Trick is to write it out and then don't read it. The act of writing helps formulate your thoughts in a structured way.

Trick is to write it out an act like you are not reading it.

Pretend it's a script and that you are acting it out.
Also try to be yourself plus an extra 20% to make it sound enthusiastic, but not hammy.

Like Fozza said it was a last min thing and I was just doing my bit to help him out usually I would structure an argument but I was trying to formulate something in my head within 5 mins and get it sent out :D

next time if i have more time I will defiantly script it a bit more but im glad people think that i got my point across :D

Everybody has good points but the medium of open discussion or recording to a microphone can sometime throw you off a bit.

That's why we take the time to edit (even though it does take a while) makes a much better product at the end of the day which everybody can be proud of.

Every week when I listen back to the main show I'm really grateful to the work that John does in the editing suite. Mainly because I know I've ermed and kirked and stuttered my way through at least half the points I was making.

Hehehe this is why Lavecon is going to be so much fun!

;)

Apparently a small cubicle has been ordered with a door lockable only from the outside. It's from the set of "Mr & Mrs".

Incidentally, I forgot to mention earlier that the pronunciation of "Selezen" was wrong.

It's "SEH-leh-zen".

:)

Yep I know that, Peter our robotic English butler however had some issue saying it, so in the end I went....meh yeah close enough...

I was however impressed with his "aka" and Thargoid and to a lesser degree his Listeri 69. Sometimes it can be a struggle to get a performance out of him.

Heather our Computer controlling the Station is much more reliable.

What do you expect from someone who can't pronounce 'Diso' correctly?

Just finished listening to the episode, and it was a very good discussion. I'm a bit dubious about Grant's wet onesies at the end there, but I reckon that that was in the original design!

It could have been worse... certain people on the elitebbs pronounced it "Sleazy". Deliberately and with intent to wound.

;)

Very interesting. I agree I will certainly be manually docking.....and yes I will be going out looking at sunsets and the visual beauty and yes some NPC might indeed attack me for sure.

This is another reason why, as most know I will be single player offline so I can do all those things and the only interference I can get is from NPC (and sure NPCs will also attack of course).

From what I can gather it seems quite a few people will go online but at least there is also a single player online so you can experience the live universe with special injeted events etc. For me though.... offline....... :)

Psykokow's ringtone :D Who's going to do the first photoshopped image? :D

Give them a Orange Sidewinder as a present!

Excellent as always. More convinced that I will be bringing along a portable plasma accelerator to fend Pskyokow off at Lavecon...

John seemed a bit besieged on the payments topic. I agreed with him.

Cheers,

Drew.
