Yeah I'm still trying to decide the best way to go about doing this. Lots of people how custom commodity data files where they've added it themselves (really is trivial) as well as other rare commodities. I don't want to overwrite their stuff with a release. I'll probably end up having totally different data file, like, default_commodities.txt or something that will be read if you don't already have a commodities_data.txt file. Renaming commodities to the right name is tricky as well because the save file has to be updated along with it.

Just downloaded 1.3 and checked the commodity data. Could add:

Slavery

"Imperial Slaves"
"Slaves"
}

and within Waste
"Chemical Waste"

Yes they are Texas Stu. You can add them yourself by editing the commodity_data.txt

Small "bug"/"typo":
The "Faction"-drop down should be called "Allegiance". Factions are small system-based entities, like "People's Bunda Independents", etc.

Allegiance is Empire, Federation, etc.

I debated making the government / faction / economy list also in a data file that people could add to... but you can add those yourself, just type it in the combo box. The only thing that won't happen is that it won't show up it the combo box for other systems; so that's alittle annoying. But you CAN save custom names for those items by just typing them in.

This will work as a temporary solution until they are externally driven.
