There was probably a big issue with latest update so they should be compiling a safe release to publish and so they pushed back the 1.01. Seems like we'll have to be a little patient.

Before the trading change, most stations were sitting at demand low, supply low for everything, with just a few stations having just 1-3 commodities at medium demand. Now we have most stations with everything at medium demand / medium supply, with a few commodities at low demand / supply and possibly 1-3 commodities at high supply / demand. I'm not saying everything or even a lot should be at high demand / supply, but the medium just dominates with 90-100% of everything. Many many stations where you cannot buy a single commodity for a return trip without taking a loss. If you buy at medium supply and sell to medium or low demand, its a loss. If you buy at high supply and sell to low demand its also a loss So those trades are out. buying high supply and selling to medium or high demand is the only condition that results in a profit Even buying at medium supply and selling to high demand does not result in a profit, so you end up flying empty from a LOT of stations still. Maybe it just takes a longer time to reach a more varied picture on the stations from this sort of medium / medium equilibrium?

I'm ok with patches getting pushed back I'm just wondering how long to expect downtime to be . . . should i go to sleep and play when i wake or will it be back in 20 min?

Yea good launch, had some problems but I discovered were on my end of the stick...anyway, I can't see what's in that link so could someone please post here for the world to see when the servers will be back online? Thanks btw

Congratz, dear FD!!!

The best game launch of all time! All other online games I have bought on Launch day had server crashes due to high traffic and takes them weeks to get it sorted. But with E.D, PERFECTION, Not a single disconnect ever since beta and gamma ended.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next expansions and content updates that come along the way.

Oh God, the forum has started eating paragraphs and spacing again? and I can't edit... fine. Just wanna add that I log all commodities in all stations I trade with in Excel with demand-high-med-low and supply-high-med-low. So I'm not tossing out random impressions

I can't confirm that. The places I buy mostly give medium or high supply and I end up selling to medium to high demand, nearly every time getting at the very least a 200Cr/t profit.
Maybe you're unlucky with your stations or you're simply running the wrong commodities.

I agree, it was nice pre-ordering a game and having it actually work properly from the very first minute. Chapeau!

Yiiiihaa Nothing over and nothing beside just the greatest ever, and it func. with no erros here, I played 4 hours and noting wrong i'm so glad. tnx Guys.

The only thing I have noticed not perfect thus far is the random disappearance of docking pads when you are heading toward them.

Excellent job all round, it's amazing.

Also noticed this. They sometimes disappear before I can locate the pad, so I use the compass to get the general direction and wait for it to reappear.

A big THANK YOU for you guys and girls!

Have been a suporter since day one from kickstarter campaign.

I played the premium beta and the gamma. Had a blast!

I started to play Elite as a kid since Elite 2 Final Frontier. Now with 32 years old, All I can say is a big THANK YOU! This is a dream coming true, at least, part of it (waiting for seamless transition from space to planet atmospheres).

You guys made an awesome job in the details about this game (the sound design is one of the best I ever saw).

I trust FD that when the first expansion is available (atmospheric flight and landing) this game gonna be a truly masterpiece, because the details you guys have been putting to it is really fantastic, and I wonder if this level of detail gonna be on the first expansion... I do believe so myself.

Again, thank you FD! Keep it up the good work! ;)

I played yeasterday about 6 hours straight till i went to bed! I have to say it was most smoothest lauch of any game i remember for a long time and belive me that i have seen over years many of them and also work in software/big server/Database environments so i can honestly say that job well done and thank you!
