I read about halfway through and feel inclined to chime in:
I get that people are a bit angry when things get changed in ways they do not understand or like. But the major reason for people seems to be that "trading is broken". Well, if - and I can't know for sure - this game works like advertised, markets will begin to change as we are influencing them. Yesterday for example I managed to clear a station of a single commodity. They are slowly getting back up, but it had an impact in trade routes, prices and so on.
My point is, that the game was launched two days ago. Not weeks. Or months. Even if it seems so for many who have been playing since Beta. So my opinion is: wait and see. The war is just starting. The markets are just beginning to feel the impact of all the players. It might well be that you are currently unable to sustain an income to support your anaconda or whatever. But that doesn't mean it's gonna stay this way. If the game launched with a wipe, you wouldn't have had your anaconda at this moment anyhow. Threatening to quit and whining like a little child seems useless to me. That said, of course you have to voice your opinion if you care even a little. But maybe keep it constructive and remember that the game just started.
Also I for one am glad that the development didn't stop after launch. It is the first time ever for me, to see developers so involved and determined to continue to support a game. Even if I don't always agree with the changes or think that other things should have more priority. But with this game I feel we're in it together. The players and the devs working hard to create an awesome experience.
Just my two cents.
