I've seen some videos where the view always shows the pilots arms and the stick etc. How do I get my view like that?
In the absence of TrackIR or similar, you can bind a button to headlook. I have one of my joystick buttons bound so I can have a quick look around and have my fingers crossed that Santa is kind. I'm sure I read somehwere that if you have a Saitek X52 the pilot's hands move on the sticks as yours do... very cool if so.
Aha, definitely need trackIR, controls stop working with headlook so I can't see. Perhaps I should open up FOV to have a look.
That does not sound right. You can head look anywhere. Your key bindings may not correctly setup for headlook. There are two types of look too. there is the one where it just naps to the panels, or there is a mouse look mode. If that is enables, you can click the mouse button and look anywhere then click again to go back to standard view
