Curious how you got it to 40ly. Currently fitting for exploration and can squeeze 33 out of it.
I reckon i could get more, but doesn't that mean configuring a paper Asp with crappy E modules ?

As for OP, i find it very capable in combat, the load out variation is very good.
The best FSD, and good Power Distributor, everything else D rank (the lightest of them all) - nothing in hardpoints...
How does the ASP compare to a Lakon 6 for short range point to point no frills trading?
And does require a large docking pad or can it land on platforms and stations without issues?
As regards landing pads on outposts you'll be fine.
Comparing to a lakon 6 for trading - you'll be better able to handle piracy, however repair costs are substantially larger so you need to be well in profit each run.
I suppose it could be possible. I played through Gamma, got about 10 million from cheesy means, but most of my money is from complex webs of buy&bring missions with the odd lucrative courier/haulier mission. Made a tidy sum on bounties/assassinations too.Big question at all you rich pilots with an Imperial Clipper and/or a 20 Millionen ASP. I guess you have not wiped yourself on release, right? Can't imagine that you can get that rich in just about a few days even from heavy grinding...

The only problem is I've never, ever met an Asp I couldn't stay underneath to kill. They're considered easy pickings cos even in my Cobra I can stay out of their firing arc regardless of AI skill.
