I would like to see evidence pretty soon of account resets or bans for those who have made their millions by nefarious means and/or a clear statement from FD on how they are going to deal with cheats in the future.
In all honesty unless you were one of the people that abused the server issues to amass hundreds of millions of credits then its highly likely that you have nothing to worry about. If you are, then probably some cause for concern, and you should probably submit a ticket and pretend it was all a big accident so you don't end up back at square one.
Frontier obviously has tools to reset saves on the individual basis. I suggest wiping the people who are asking for it. I think it would be fair. I can't say I care - as baker I would get an insta-cobra anyways, meaning I'll get to Asp in a matter of days. But I feel bad for others who would have to start from smaller ships.

I'm not troll. I love the game. Just some are wayyyyyy Tooooooo serious. It's just a game. Which was kinda my point. I restart games I like all the time.
Most game developers have their EULAs written in a way that pretty much says, "In the end, we reserve the right to do anything we want at any time and the players have no legal recourse." Its an attempt to legally protect their butts in case of worst case scenarios. So, I doubt a lawsuit would be successful, but that doesn't mean players have to keep playing the game. If a wipe were to occur, I would be extremely p***ed off, along with many others. But FD seems to be a good, straight-up company (from my experiences). They won't wipe because it would be cutting their own throats. I don't even think EA would do such a thing, then again it is EA...

The fact that no rollback or wipe will happen should be proof enough that you are actually wrong.
The software company would be terrified of legal action.

And I'm pretty sure FD figured this out without needing to waste one billable second of their lawyers' time. These issues neither were going to, nor will ever amount to a full rollback.
Oh, and I utterly disagree with your claims about readiness for release.
